This place is a hidden gem. Bay Villa absolutely blew our minds when we entered. We stayed in the Library room. The views were fantastic accross the bay, it was charming and elegant. It felt like we were in a period drama and it helped us escape to another time and place entirely. The quality of the furniture, bedding, amenities were high quality. Every thoughtful touch was just perfect and felt like home from home. The food was local and wholesome, with many choices too. The host was so friendly, welcoming, warm and helpful in every way possible. She had made my husbands birthday so special by all the added touches, we really were blown away. Its charm and warmth drew us in and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back to enjoy such a wonderful experience which will be difficult to top. Thank you for making it such a memorable stay for us.

Absolutely nothing

The room was much more than we expected, great view of the bay despite the time of year, the hosts were friendly. Breakfast was exactly as we ordered and served right on time to our room, the decor was great and felt like we were back in the 1800's.

The only issue would be that it got a tad warm in the night, we had the window open but possibly a fan would have helped. We didn't ask so maybe that would have been provided if asked for.

Margaret the host, excellent, made us feel at home straight away, nothing was too much trouble. The bath in Silverdale room, massive with an excellent view. The little touches, milk, water, beer in the fridge, a sewing kit and a fan for if the room did get too hot. Breakfast was nice, all cooked to perfection.

That we had to get back home for the kids so couldn't stay any longer

From the moment we arrived, we were met with kindess and warmth.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Far beyond our expectations. The hosts were amazing. Couldn’t have done anymore to make our stay any better. Breakfast. Is to die for.
