I’ve been staying here for work once a week & it’s been amazing. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. The staff and owner are so incredibly accommodating. It feels like a home away from home.

Staff were friendly

Bedding was shabby and creased. TV didn't work properly. Only one bedside lamp and bedside table. Grab rail on wall next to the bath a health and safety issue it is loose and dangerous room far too warm despite turning rads off and opening windows. We didn't use the downstairs bar as it was dreary and depressing

This stay was exactly whats it said on the tin and in addition the room was immaculate and the beds comfy, no frills but thats what is advertised and exactly what we required for our stay when visiting friends nearby. Its above a pub so there is a little noise but nothing more than we expected having stayed here before. The host is welcoming and friendly and leaves a small selection of drinks and nibbles in the room.
