Room was large and clean with comfortable beds.

There is nowhere to eat in Market Weighton after 4pm on a Sunday!

Cleanliness.. everything was working ..

I thought because it was old I was’nt sure.. but it was good.. the cleanliness made up for any reservation I had. Will probably be staying again later in the year

Large airy room with parking available

Every floor board in the room and bathroom squeaked which you expect in an old property but I was concerned about disturbing other people when moving around the room later at night. The young man who checked me in was great and very friendly. I spoke to a lady when I wanted to check out early, nothing to do with my stay at the bar we just decided to go home earlier than planned, and I wasn’t treated with the same friendly ness, she just took my key and walked away. Not a great vibe for encouraging return business, my daughter attends Uni locally so I have plenty of opportunity to stay there again but will think differently next time.

Don't do breakfast but pently around local

The exterior was very fetching and the room we stayed in looked old fashioned but in a stylish way. The beds were extremely comfortable and pretty much all amenities were taken care of. The staff member was welcoming.

The floorboards were very squeaky so it was tricky going to the bathroom without waking our toddler. But I guess it’s to be expected in an old building. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room - we would have had to ask for one at reception. There was no one on reception when we checked out in the morning, making me wonder what would have happened if we’d had an emergency in the room.
