We had a nice quiet 2 bed suite with a private bathroom. One room had a double bed and the other, three singles. This was perfect for us as we prefer the children nearby. All staff were very welcoming. The garden next to the stream was lovely and the kids enjoyed watching all the animals being let out in the morning, and stroking the goats and ponies. The old tram/trainline that runs alongside has been turned into a cycling/walking track so would be perfect for cyclists and guests with dogs. It's highly likely we'll stay again.

I think the hotel is being refurbished as it looks a bit tired and dated, the staff were very pleasant and the location is beautiful. I will be happy to return!

I loved the location and the room was spacious and they allowed dogs - for a small addition charge. The room was cleaned although the gite itself could do with a little TLC. It was great for a stop off

Great stop-over to break journey on motorway back to tunnel. Situated by pretty stream and next to disused railway line, now a lovely quiet foot/cycle path following river Loir. Room recently refurbished, spotless new bathroom. Public areas looking tired, but obviously work in progress to update the whole property. The Hosts were absolutely lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Very dog-friendly too. Will definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed staying there, but it wasn’t the first time. We like it very much. The owners are very friendly, the surrounding is super. We’ll come back.

The path on the old railway line is brilliant for walking the dogs and a lovely walk along the Loire. It is a very quirky little place. Great for an overnight stop.

Be warned there is only one socket in the bedroom so plan your charging of phones etc.

The property had been flooded 2 days before we arrived and we didn’t get a message from booking dot com till we had just arrived however they took us in and made us feel really welcome

The room was dirty & needed refurbishment, we pre ordered an evening meal for 2 as instructed but upon arrival was abruptly told no food. Fancied a drink from a very limited choice wanted a beer and a glass of wine, was told we had to order a bottle, we declined as no food was available. Receptionist then disappeared so we left and found alternative accommodation
