Perfect for an overnight stop on route to our holiday house. Sadly it was raining as the outside area looked lovely. Clean comfortable room. Friendly helpful owners.

Significant mould in the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel in a really quiet location, just off one of the main routes to the south. You can walk down to the Loire river. Friendly helpful owners. Nice evening meal and a good breakfast

Nothing we didn’t like

Pre booked evening meal, there was only one choice and l am MR FUSSY..... 3 courses, all excellent, l probably would not have chosen them from a menu. The breakfast choice was endless, you could never have wanted for more and no rush to get us to leave. The proprietor/chef was very friendly and interactive, the property was a little dated but the overall ambiance and feel was homely. Absolutely love the gardens and animals. Yes we would return, a wonderful family and home... Merci beaucoup Angela and Graham Collins

Bed was comfortable

Room was very run down with loads of dust and scruffy furniture. Breakfast was only a few pieces of bread and jam. Not offered meat or cheese or egg. Host not very welcoming.

Rooms typical of French rural hotels Clean, basic but adequate for our stay Group of seven had a few drinks and dinner perfect after the drive from the uk. Staff although only speaking a little English and we speaking less French made us very welcome. If the weather had been a little better the outside area would have been very pleasant to sit in for the evening.

Very French place, very welcoming, cooked us a lovely meal as a favour on arrival, as it was a Sunday evening.,

Need to make it clear on the website that it is not Vouvray village, but Vouvray sur Loir We went to the wrong one, as others have done apparently.
