Self catering but the facilities were up to date and ideal for for our needs, no complaints

Everything was just right for our stay and near to Chatsworth where our son was performing at the Country Fair.

Met by the owner, delightful lady who had baked a cake! Perfect location in middle of village

Sofa was in keeping with the cottage feel, however, it was very low and not the comfiest. Stairs quite steep, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues

This little cottage was perfect for our needs 3 friends meeting up to do lots of walking in the Peaks. It was spotlessly clean, the sitting room is cosy with a lovely open fire. The location is excellent. I love the village of Youlegreave because there's so much to do there. You don't even need a car if you stay here because there's plenty right on your doorstep.

My friend who stayed in the smaller room said the bed in there was uncomfortable and she couldn't sleep well. To be fair this might be because it's a childs bed.

My only negative would be that the shower was weak.
