Location was in a quiet area with awesome views Loved the sounds.like walking in a tropical jungle Birds and frogs chirping all around.like a symphony in surround sound Dolby ! Our rooms had awesome views and bathrooms had an open air ambiance with rain showers and soaking tub. Vinesh our porter and club car valet was always there when needed.Restaurant staff and food was also top notch.Wished we stayed a little longer.A must stay at Taj when in Munnar !

Location. It has the bones of being a good property but sadly management has been the let down.

Beware when booking through booking.com after I had breakfast I was asked to sign the invoice. When I asked why would I be signing this as I bought package where breakfast was included. They said no and gave me the run around for a full day. I refused to pay extra and finally they said they will sort the issue with booking.com spoilt my stay. Also cleaning in room is not up to mark. They gave us one bathrobe and we were a family of 2. Had to ask for basic amenities as soap shampoo containers were tiny. The mats leading to room were all wet due to rain - they need to be better quality as staff bought in muddy shoes. The pool in the villas is also is not heated and it was freezing during our stay. Breakfast options were ok definitely not worth the money. This property surely can’t be Taj managed as it is quite basic. Paint in our room near study table was all chipped. I have stayed at numerous 5 star 6 star venues this is basically 3 star. On arrival day staff should go through what’s included in the package like other properties so guests exactly know what is there.

Rooms not clean

Staff were very kind, got an upgrade to the top level bungalow with a large plunge pool. Food was great, grounds of the resort are beautifully designed and maintained. Bed was soft and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone to stay.

Room was a little dusty but this appears to be due to the fact that they don’t vacuum. Rather they use a dry mop, which is fine. Additionally, it’s surrounded by (beautiful) rain forest so a little dust is totally understandable.

The setting was perfect and the room with plunge pool was lovely. The restaurant was nice and the staff were great

The swimming pool and property plunge pool need to be a little warmer. Also they need to better respond to requests for drinks by the pool or on the terrace. When by the pool service took 1 hour for some soft drinks.

Every aspect of our visit met our expectations. The design of the resort, the rooms, the gardens, the food and staff: all marvellous. A special mention for the activities manager, Mr Palani.
