You cant turn a pigs ear into a silk purse...but they tried...room was remodeled...clean...new tv...bed and was very comphy...people at desk were nice...only real shortcomings were the toilet crammed against the wall with paper holder in your side...seat broken...water was a little brown...would not reccamend drinking it...both sink and tub drains were very slow...faucet was a guessing game...turn it clock wise...ac has hidden buttons on front...great resturant across street and several others to choose from in walking distance...

The room air conditioner was not on when i arrived at about 6.30pm. It was a west facing room so the room temp was 90 so it finally cooled to 70 the next day. The first night was a Hot night!

I liked the price and the updates.

Our air conditioner wasn’t working and we let the guy in the office know and he basically said it was working. Just give it some time. By 10 o’clock that night we were sweating and it wasn’t blowing consistent cold air so we had to go tell them this was unacceptable. They did get us another room. Another thing is they don’t have any sort of lamp light. That would be a nice addition.

Pleasantly surprised. This motel is getting a nice makeover. The room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is that bedside lights need to be added and clothes hooks need to be added. I love finding great mom and pop motels. PS I always ask to see the room before booking these older types of establishments.

This hotel did not provide a fresh towel on my second day a did not clean my room. I was not able to get my deposit money because no one in the front counter. It is locked for the customer to enter. The phone is not hooked up I have to use my cellphone to call them the first day because the tv is not working. I am hoping to get back my deposit money. It is a bad place to stay!

As stated in my check-in review, the person at the desk, while hard to understand, tried to make us give a $100 CASH deposit. After I told him I'd just go down the road and report it through Expedia, he called his "manager" and all of a sudden we were allowed a $50 card swipe for "incidentals" like with ALL other hotels in the world. We didn't partake of the "Free WiFi" as the security of the place and the way we were received caused me to worry about their electronic security. We had to leave earlier than thought, before 3am on Sunday morning. No where to drop the key and I wasn't going to call someone to check me out. Left the key in the seam of the office door for them. We took MULTIPLE pictures to ensure that they did not charge us anything saying we damaged anything. I will keep an eye on my bank account to make sure that doesn't happen and to see if the $50 is returned to the account as well. Overall, this property should not be on Expedia. They are not receptive to the Expedia rates we booked at, claiming we got it at $64 a night when they normally charged $130 a night. This place does NOT come close to being worth $130 a night. I'll never go there again.

They did not have my reservation. I did get a room. The room had been renovated or was being renovated. Closet space but no way to hang clothes. No lights on the night stands so when you turned off the main lights you had no reading lights. The water came out a light brown and the tub took several hours to drain. The soda machine was outside but was not plugged in nor was there place to plug it in. The office person was rude. He did come plug in my tv when I couldn’t get it to come on. He had to unplug the microwave so I could have one or the other. They needed three items plugged in but only two spots behind the cabinet. When was going to check out at 8:30 Sunday morning the office was locked. I rang the bell on the door for 2-3 minutes when he came to the door. He barely opened the door to take my room then shut and locked the door. He was obviously still sleeping. I was not able to get my receipt.

The room was clean and when we needed anything, we got it right away. The renovations were almost complete. What was left were things that were on backorder. We were visiting family and didn't mind or notice what wasn't there. My husband and I had a good time.

I was good with the sparseness of the room and lack of somethings like no iron, but have ironing board, no blow dryer, no chair, no closet, o hanging place for hosing, no drawers, no decore, u til there was no bleeding heater. That sucked. Big time sucked. Thin comforter, towels feel like sand paper, double rooms in back of redone hotel on drainage area if rains we will be flooded out. I will not go back.
