"Fabulous Vdara!"

10.0

Excellent stay at Vdara. Lobby smells divine, much better than Aria which is spoilt by smoking from the casino that wafts into the lobby. Smooth check in & a clean and tidy Bellagio Fountain view studio on 37th floor. Superb view and the fountain music is piped in through the tv in the room. Huge bathroom, with a bath. Location great and indoor walkways link the hotel to MGM Park, Cosmo and Bellagio. Highly recommended for a mid strip stay.

"No Ambassador status recognition"

4.0

No recognition for Marriott members even ambassador level, will offer a room upgrade that isnt an upgrade. Smoke free, more like smoke less, but you can still smell cannabis most days. Have no policy on how to stop people leaving g their dogs barking in their rooms whilst they're out. It's not bad it's just there is no recognition of status. So stay elsewhere where there is.

"Love the Staff and Service"

10.0

We have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. It is my go to for Vegas because it is quiet and it's easy to get to the rooms from the front door. No mile long trek through a noisy casino to find the elevators. The rooms have always been nice, the only downfall that we have found is that the sofa beds are terribly uncomfortable. I understand that sofa beds are generally not the most luxurious, but the ones we've experienced here are the worst of the worst (so says my teenager). The staff at this hotel have always been amazing. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. On our most recent visit my teenager left her computer in the room when we checked out. We had not yet left Vegas as we had an evening flight. The hotel staff called me to let me know they had found it and kept it in their lost and found for us to pick up. I have had many experiences with leaving things in hotel rooms and I have never successfully been able to retrieve the items. This hotel is on the higher end for price, but the staff and their genuine ability to care and treat people in a manner that feels good will keep me coming back.

"Nice hotel, super expensive mini bar"

8.0

Stayed for two nights while at a conference at the Aria next door. Vdara is a sister hotel to the Aria and although the two aren’t physically connected they share the same driveway and it’s a short walk. As a non-gambler, I liked that Vdara doesn’t have a casino and the layout is more of a traditional hotel. There was no line at checkin on a weekend evening so I was able to quickly get up to my room. The rooms start on around the 30th floor and go into the 50’s so you can get some good views. My room was on the 51st floor and had a nice view facing the Bellagio fountains and Sphere. I reserved a studio and had a small kitchenette, sitting area and a partition to the sleeping area, perfect for one or two people. The kitchenette has a two burner stove, microwave, fridge, etc. There is a stocked mini bar (the kind that charges automatically if you remove something) plus an empty fridge next to it. The mini bar prices are in the bedside tablet, be aware everything is super expensive. Even the coffee service and water on the counter is pricy so check everything. There is no kitchenware, just a sign that says you can call housekeeping for it. I tried to use the fitness center but it closes at 5pm daily—I guess they expect you use the Aria’s which is open 24 hours. I’ve stayed at a few hotels nearby including the Park MGM Grand (small rooms) and New York New York (down market but less expensive) and Vdara is definitely the best choice if you can swing the rate.

"AHR 2026 Larry David experience"

4.0

I booked this hotel based on location, and the fact it was tied to AHR convention and that the hotel offered shuttles. This was very important to me. Also it had a pool and excercise facilities "on site". So get in the room, very nice room and appeared clean. Had a long day of travel go to take a shower and it was full of hair.. Not a great feeling and no rebate or any consideration was offered. This is not a cheap place to stay. Next the staff had absolutely no idea or gave a xxxk to try and help with shuttle. Told me to go to Aria maybe it is there. I asked were at Aria the front desk staff walked away from me. Just said go to Aria. I asked for a supervisor, and was told they are busy.. It was actually very embarrassing to me and not knowing Vegas at all, very frustrating. So having to make a meeting you don't have time to be walking all over. Uber or taxi it was. The pool also was closed at Vdara, and was again told go to Aria. Aria closes pool at 4pm? Which they were not joking. From 3pm to 4pm you are reminded every 2 min. And you are walked out by security at 3:59. The pool area was very busy so a lot of very confused people. Coming from -20f weather the pool and sun was a dream to me. Honestly most staff are not all interested in being polite or helpfull. They are quick to want a $20 though or more for a tip. I did have a very helpfull guy at consierge named Randy. Who went above and beyond at Vdara to assist me with storing luggage before my 1030pm flight. To sum up Vdara. Very nice hotel, but most staff are not at all polite or helpfull. Any question or request is met with a look of confusion or you can see "man I wish this guy would go away". I can see why Vegas is not busy and the total lack of customer service is very evident. I have never felt more like Larry David in a Curb episode with my interactions with Vdara front desk. FYI on the third and last day there a chart for shuttle was there.. kinda funny Not sure I would want to go back again anytime soon. Vdara left a bad tatse and Vegas in general just really needs a wake up call with being more customer orientated.

"Nice But Service Was Poor"

6.0

Room was nice, large and modern. They did try to accommodate me when I requested a scent free room because of allergies. However, the day after we arrived, I called the front desk to let them know of some problems: The toilet kept coming on all day and night so there must be a leaking flapper. The pad supplied in all the rooms was not functioning at all. So, many of the services available (including hotel map) were not something we could access. The safe did not work, so I had to carry around a think wallet wherever I went. They said they would send maintenance. Maintenance never arrived. Additionally: No conceriege desk so we couldn't get maps of Las Vegas or any help. Poor choices for breakfast. No place to get a simple breakfast anywhere nearby. The cafe downstairs and Starbucks were pretty limited.

"Smoke-free and quiet, but starting to show its age"

6.0

While the Vdara is ideal for those who prefer to avoid the constant presence of a casino and the lingering smell of tobacco, the property is beginning to show signs of aging. During my stay, I encountered several issues: Technology: The in-room tablet, which is supposed to provide essential information like minibar pricing, was out of order. The staff informed me they had no replacements or even printed versions of the information. Additionally, the TV is not a Smart TV, so you cannot stream your own content. Maintenance: The shower door seal was ineffective, leading to a flooded bathroom floor after every shower. Location & Accessibility: Unlike its sister property, the Aria, which has direct access to the Strip, the Vdara feels like an island. You can only leave the premises by car or by commuting through adjacent hotels. It’s a great choice for peace and quiet, but the maintenance and tech updates are definitely lagging.

"Great Hotel"

10.0

Everything about this hotel was top notch! The Parlour Suite was big with a dividing panel between the bed and living area. So nice to have a little space in a Vegas hotel room. They were nice enough to allow us to check in at 9am with no extra fee. The room was incredible with a better view than we have ever had at any other casino. 51st floor with a view of the strip, including the Sphere and Bellagio fountains. Large bathroom with full corner bathtub and full walk in shower. Great thick towels and nice amenities. Loved that the rideshare was right outside the front door...there is enough walking in Vegas without having to hike a mile to rideshare (the reason we checked out early from Aria and moved to Vdara). The link to Cosmo and Bellagio is also through Vdara. Beds were more comfortable and lower here. Only odd thing was how short everything was. The toilet was so low that with a new knee recently, I could barely squat low enough to sit on it. Then I had to use the oddly low shower door bar to stand up. The bathroom sink was also low. In addition, the living room furniture was super short. The coffee table was just a tad taller than a popcorn box, and I needed help to get up off the sofa (although it was much more comfortable than Aria). The room did have a coffee maker and fridge that can be used. In addition, the bellman brought us up some bottles of water with our luggage. Such a great service! There was an issue we needed an engineer for, and one was sent up within 30 minutes. No robes or slippers where provided here, and the safe was very small....the laptop would not fit. The only breakfast spot cost $48 for a mini quiche, croissant and breakfast sandwich. Main drawback is the hotel is pet friendly...which means the dogs in the room next to us barked all hours of the night. The only option was for us to move, even through the guests on the other side and across the hall complained too. It was the policy. I had to take a sleeping pill to sleep through the barking. NOT great service for this level of hotel....and they don't have designated pet rooms....which means every room could have pet pee/poop and dander.

"A go to"

8.0

We always stay here because the views of the fountains are great and the rooms have ample space. Was VERY disappointed that room service is not a bunch of food served in containers. We had a lovely kitchen and a table and they brought up our meal in a ton of plastic containers. The city corner suite was right across the base from housekeeping’s room- sometimes loud
