"Gouging Customers"

6.0

Very nice rooms and service but surprised with the lack of restaurants. Also be prepared to be gouged for purchases made in the hotel, especially your room. Our room came with a kitchenette with no plates, silverware, glasses coffee like you normally get in any other hotel. If you want a Kuerig, it can be delivered for 20/day. Since I had to stay an additional day, I transferred to an upgraded room that had a Kureug but the two coffee pods were 9.00 each. A pack of Vdara gummy bears 17.00, small pringles 18.00 and a small Fuji water @ 14.00. So why is tourism down in Las Vegas??? This!!! People will pay a fair price but nobody likes the feeling of getting screwed over. I'm at Ambassador status in Marriott so that means I stay in hotels all over but this is one that will be removed from my list. Too much Greed.

"Quiet and out of the way"

8.0

This is a nonsmoking, non gambling hotel that is off the strip. It was quiet and clean. The room was average for the cost. The biggest downside is that there are no restaurants on the Vdara property. There is a Starbucks and another little cafe but that’s it. You will need to walk across the street to the Aria to find several restaurants. Here’s a secret…the Vdara has room service! It is a $10 service charge for delivery and is not otherwise more expensive than the restaurants at the Aria. I was amazed at how fast my food came (15 minutes one time and 10 the other). The meals were hot and there were several options to choose from. Go this route and skip going to the Aria to eat. There is a little dining table in the kitchenette so there is a quaint place to eat in your room.

"New Year in Vegas!"

10.0

Awesome hotel, especially the staffs! Love the location. Overall, it was awesome! Could be better communicating on the parking with MGM Properties (Vdara, Mandalay Bay, etc). But other than that it was awesome!

"Great Hotel - Highly Recommend!"

10.0

You can’t fault this hotel - it is everything that I need in Vegas. Check in was smooth, the rooms are incredible. The lobby is pleasant away from the noise and massive stimulation of casino hotels.maybe the only downside is that the hotel is slightly off the strip, but also nice to escape the hustle and bustle of the strip

"Great location, quiet rooms"

8.0

This was my second stay at Vdara, and I used Marriott points for our stay. Overall, it is a solid choice. It is a great location, connected to Bellagio and the Cosmo with a walkway. It is also in the same drop off as the Aria. So you can easily get to casinos, as well as the strip. There is not a casino in the hotel, which was part of the draw. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. We both worked remotely on Friday, and were able to do so easily. There is a great spot for brunch in the lobby, which also has a great bar for a nightcap. There is a well equipped gym, which wasn't too busy when I went.

"Awesome"

10.0

We loved this non casino hotel, much more peaceful but right in the heart of the action too! This particular studio is private owned which meant it’s only serviced on the day you leave. You can pay a fee to hotel to get daily cleaning if you want. However hotel provided extra towels, toilet rolls and kitchen ware as soon as we asked. It’s super spacious and the bed including the large sofa bed were so comfy. The benefit of being private owned was we had NO extra resort fees to pay! Highly recommend for an awesome stay in Vegas

""Panoramic Suite" with a view of a wall"

2.0

Booked a Panoramic Suite for my son and I while he was here for a football tournament. Thought it would be fun to have a large room with a view... On the 5th floor with a view of the wall and massive lights shining into the room. We're Marriott Gold members (and booked a higher room) and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Won't be staying here again... If you book a "Panoramic Room," be sure you don't get the bottom floor where you have a panoramic view of a wall!

"Perfect for a quiet escape on the Strip"

10.0

Stayed in the "studio parlor suite" -- for solo travelers or married couples on a short visit, this room is ideal - plenty of space but not more than you need (as if often the case with full suites). The artwork on the walls is an unfortunate choice (that shade of green is not relaxing!), but otherwise the room is well-appointed (right down to enough coffee for 4 cups). My room was not particularly close to the elevator, but the walk from the lobby was pleasantly short compared to other Vegas properties. You make up for it, though, with the somewhat off-Strip location -- if you want to walk to high-end casinos, pools, and restaurants, you're all set -- Cosmopolitan and Bellagio are 5-10 minutes away with no need to go outdoors. (Aria requires a couple minutes outdoors if you don't want to wait for the tram, enough that I'd think twice on a really hot day). If you prefer a short walk to fast food, affordable sundries, and mall shops, then it's more like 10-15 minutes with significant time outdoors and crowd-fighting. The lobby is fairly busy but there's plenty of space and it's typically relaxed and quiet if you want to get out of the room for a bit. The on-site restaurants did not seem too crowded, and there is a 24-hour place with a mini-market. A nice plus for being near but not on the Strip is that unlike other nearby properties, you usually won't see junkies loitering right outside the entrance. If you're considering Aria, Vdara often seems quite a bit less expensive at the cost of a couple of extra minutes of walking (my favorite part of Aria, the Patisserie late at night, is literally right inside the door facing Vdara).

"Perfect hotel!"

10.0

This was the perfect hotel for Vegas, it has great rooms and pools. It is connected to the Cosmopolitan and leads into the Bellagio, without paying the big price. This hotel does not have a casino. Tat was great as less busy and less smoke. Walking distance to most things. Small taxi ride to Venetian and Paris hotel. The Venetian is amazing. The paris and flamingo hotels are looking very tired. You have to try and crepes i the Bellagio area.
