"Nice hotel, but a big problem"

4.0

The Vdara is an attractive hotel in a great location near the strip. We had a studio room on a high floor, which was very nice. But here’s the problem: there’s no sit down restaurant for breakfast until after 8am. Your choices are a lobby Starbuck’s or a walk-up snack bar, unless you want to go to the hotel next door. And the prices at the snack bar and Starbuck’s are obscene: $8 for a small bottled water; a latte and breakfast croissant at Starbuck’s is over $20. I don’t know why a hotel this big has so few dining options, but it’s a major inconvenience.

"Vacation"

Great location, front staff very friendly and kind, room was very quiet with all you needed for comfort, perfect that the room had a refrigerator, microwave, keurig, and separate area to dine in the room. Will definitely stay there again.

"Nice hotel, quiet on the strip"

Great hotel, so nice to have a quieter option that’s not part of a casino. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

"Definitely a MUST stay!"

10.0

Vdara is a beautiful hotel .. no casino but connected to the Cosmopolitan, Aria, and Bellagio .. the room was gorgeous .. it had a kitchen, large bathroom with shower and separate tub, and 2 TV's (one in bedroom area and one in living room) .. definitely will stay there again IF rates are as reasonable when I booked! .. only bad thing I encountered was the gym which was ridiculously small and only a few pieces of equipment

"Excelent stay on the Strip"

10.0

Easy check-in and out with the MGM app. Large suite with kitchen, living room, bedroom and large bathroom. Pool area was relaxing and not crowded, with plenty of lounge chairs. Quite casino-less hotel

"Great location on the Strip"

10.0

We normally stay at Bellagio and love the location. On a previous trip we discovered the beautifully enclosed walkway between Bellagio, Vdara & Cosmopolitan. I have been intrigued by Vdara's room selections and lower prices than Bellagio so decided to give them a try. We were NOT disappointed! We were able to check in online with the MGM app, our room was ready before we arrived. I did stop by the front desk with a question which was pleasantly approachable without a huge line as is normal with the casino hotels. Our room was beautiful and very clean. Housekeeping knocked on our door just before we were ready to leave the next morning, when we returned, they had done a great job putting everything back in its place and cleaning. Our room was quiet on the 53 floor, we faced Allegiant Stadium, not the Strip, which was fine with us. We did find a beautiful view from the hallway of our floor that did look down the strip. We would definitely stay again, front desk service was very friendly, housekeeping excellent, location and price can't be beat.

"Best hotel on the strip"

10.0

Safe environment courteous personnel. I will return quarterly. No smelly casino. Nice spa and 24 hour convenience store on site. Nearby all attractions like the Sphere, Mall and Allegiant stadium. If you want expensive or moderate places to eat all close by.

"The worst Vegas experience we ever had, BY FAR!"

2.0

Booked a CITY VIEW PANORAMIC suite instead of 2 rooms at one of the many hotels on the strip that we have been to because we wanted the kids to really see Vegas at all hours. The Hotels.com description also said you can see the Bellagio water show from the room. Paid a great deal of money for it! We get to the room on the 5th floor and the dusty windows are directly looking at a parking lot and/or a wall with bright lights at night. We spend hours at the front desk instead of exploring complaining that we were scammed! We were told that A. That is a desirable room that many guests “request” 😂. B. There are no more rooms to switch as they are fully sold out. C. They are not responsible for descriptions on 3rd party (Amazon owned Expedia who when contacted then disputed it making it a run around blame game as usual hoping we would just give up) and D. “Panoramic view” just means floor to ceiling windows not an actual view (which is not the implication anyone with a brain knows)! We got moved to a slightly higher floor and some food credit for our hours and ruined vacation. The “massive suite” had a pullout couch that took up the entire area when out you couldn’t even use the draws for clothes as a result and most of the space was a massive kitchen that had zero plates and utensils which we had to call 4 times and took until the second to last day to bring up! The Resturant ( and room service and all food minus a dinky market place sundry like store IN VEGAS) that closes by 10pm took an hour for breakfast because they are “understaffed” at this luxury hotel! With one runner that serves all pool, room service and resturant orders!!

"We stay here every time!"

10.0

We have stayed here a few times, and we love it! At first, we rejected the idea because it doesn't have a casino. But it's connected to the Bellagio, Aria, and Cosmo, which are our 3 favorite places--they are all just a short walk down a hall (technically, Aria is a short walk down a sidewalk). The nice thing is that you never have to get out in the general Vegas population to get to these places because they are all connected. And you can get to Caesar's from Bellagio, and Park MGM through Aria (and all of the shoppes). So it really is convenient. I clocked my steps one time when we stayed at Bellagio, and it was nearly a quarter mile to get to the front door. When you think of it that way, walking down a hall is no big deal. So we go out and have fun, and come back to the quiet and go to bed. It's perfect. They also have a restaurant/bar, a Starbucks, and a 24-hour market/convenience store, a pool, and a spa. What else do you need?
