Moxy St. Petersburg Downtown

Beautiful & clean! Staff is amazing as well as engaging, will DEFINITELY return to the Moxy for future stays. One suggestion, the pool cabanas ALL had “reserved” signs on them and there were all but two or three NOT being used. While sitting in the pool, overhead a group of young ladies stating the had a day past for the pool and cabana. They weren’t even guests at the Moxy as we were (we also spent over the $50 food and drink). We did have seats and umbrella though so it was still a nice couple of days, easy to get to everything!

The staff at the Moxy is the absolute worst we have ever experienced. They are rude & condescending. Don't know how to make any type of cocktail. When you ask for service... they look at you like you a 2 headed dragon. We took our business elsewhere in St. Pete where they appreciate their customers.

From the room to the roof top pool everything was exceptional and the staff was great.

Would have liked to have seen a TV by the pool.that way I could watched the football games and had lunch off the game time menu.

The Moxy St. Petersburg has all of the potential to be a great place to stay....downtown St. Petersburg, new, bright and fresh, great coffee shop, bar etc....BUT if you are going to stay to enjoy the hotel like any getaway experience, you should know: the beds are SO uncomfortable, the pillows are flat and the bedding is AWFUL! We stayed two nights to help our children move into a new St. Petersburg location close to the hotel, and we couldn't sleep! Not to mention the very very loud music coming from the bar downstairs! We were on the FIFTH floor!! They even leave earplugs (one set) in the room! Come on Moxy! This isn't a nightclub! It's a Marriott Hotel!! In the morning you come down to the coffee shop which is darling and you can't believe what went on in the space the night before, because its all quiet, still, and wonderful. NOT A PLACE TO STAY IF YOU WANT A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Moxy St Petersburg and loved the experience. It feels like an edgy boutique hotel. The room had a cool urban vibe. The Moxy had a great local live band playing for the guests in the bar area, and we were able to order a delicious meal right from the bar pretty late at night (after most restaurants had closed) while watching the band perform and enjoying delicious complimentary drinks. Passes all vibe checks.

Overall great place to stay. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Moxy. All of the staff members were very kind and helpful, especially Gabby at the bar. Our room was comfortable and clean and we spent a lot of time out on out balcony enjoying the fabulous Florida air. The room is a bit small, but we didn't mind. If we were there, we were out on the balcony anyway. The gym is nice and the rooftop pool is so beautiful. We loved the neighborhood and if you like walking, the pier was only about a 20 minute walk away.

I enjoyed the hotel, the staff was great and very helpful. I would have liked a little refrigerator in the room but it was fine.
