We left one day before from our check out because there was something on the bed (idk what) but we got hives all around

The location was great, the cabins are cute, dated, but cute. Parking is great. The price was great.

We were unable to access our room for hours because the attendant did not arrive on time. When he finally arrived, we discovered the lock on our door was broken, preventing us from getting into our room until after dinner. While the attendant was polite and friendly, the experience significantly affected the quality of our stay. The attendant should have been present at the designated check-in time, and the door lock should have been in working order. Additionally, having a backup key available, rather than relying on a malfunctioning automatic lock, would have avoided this issue. Waiting for a maintenance person who lived an hour away—and didn’t arrive for several hours—was not an acceptable solution. Although everyone we interacted with was kind, the situation could have been handled much better. Ultimately, I believe the responsibility lies with the owner. It seems the property is in the process of being sold, and the attendant was "just helping him out."

the second guy who manned the resort made my partner and I extremely uncomfortable. He asked us to come inside to show him how to use the fireplace… when we verbally told him instead of going inside - he insisted we come in to show him how to use the microwave?? He then proceeded to feed my dog a whole slice of pizza, making me freak out because who does that? Bottom line - the cozy little cabin with fireplace is nice, but it wasn’t very clean, dust balls everywhere and shower wasn’t used because it wasn’t clean further. Leftover items from other travelers and dirty towels were left before we came in as well… Had Martin (original resort manager) been there the entire time we would’ve been fine but the last interactions with the new guy made me weary of ever returning.

The room smells so bad.

I had a good time with my fiancé, owner was very nice and welcoming. Definitely coming back next year

Staff was very helpful and accommodating in our needs.
