Clean rooms and great communication.

It was not a nice experience. It was the worst place we ever stayed. It wasn't clean and no nightly housekeeping and overpriced.

It is hard to describe how bad it was. We planned a hiking trip with family and ended up staying here since we could not find any other accommodation. Bed sheets had holes in them, bathroom tub was stained and looked really disgusting. And the worst part was that roaches would crawl through holes in the front door in the night and climb on the bed. Actually, I really came to trust expedia for curating hotels and this was the worst experience we had. This should not been listed in expedia. And it was expensive and did not have nightly housekeeping. We could not stay last two nights of our stay and we simply left.

Easy access to Mt Whitney. The outside decor was welcoming. The room was very clean and they provided complimentary snacks that were really good.

Our shower was broken - otherwise it was ok. Overpriced for what it was

Breakfast very poor Little or none could not call it breakfast

Very noisy and money was taken on booking and not at the property as advised

We enjoyed our stay at Eastern Sierra Motor Lodge. It was easy to check in and the owner quickly responded when we needed anything. There are very few restaurants in Independence so we had to drive to Lone Pine to eat. There was no grocery store either.

Very very disappointed

I’m not complaining because I didn’t request accessible. Most rooms now have standard bathroom doors so we make do. This room was very difficult for us because the bathroom door was too narrow. The owners made a ramp so a wheelchair can get to the rooms which is great. A small fix- make the bathroom door a couple inches wider- and the room would be wheelchair accessible. We appreciated the snacks and the working mini fridge.
