Wylder Windham

The property consists of multiple buildings and it's a crapshoot which you'll get. Our building had no amenities and was a far walk from the main building and restaurant. The TV was practically unusable and took over 30 minutes to pair with a phone to stream a movie. Also, the heat in our room was a lousy fan unit and no heat at all in the bathroom. Lastly, we could hear the guests in the room above and across the hall. The soundproofing was non-existent. The bed was comfortable though and the location was great.

No coffee in the room. No “normal” TV. Only streaming which is a bummer.

Wildly expensive for the price. Not a luxury hotel as advertised. There wasn’t even an elevator.. we had to lug our suitcases up the stairs by ourselves. There wasn’t even a member of the staff to help. Embarrassing for the price they charge.

Wow! Just wow ! Came on a friends recommendation and as of course I am always skeptical with a few bad reviews. But please disregard them. This place was perfect hands down the best cute warm cozy winter experience I have Ever had. Check in was super easy the main lodge was really cute and seasonally decorated. I was nervous that our room was off the main building but it was super warm super clean and perfect. We had a private little yard which was perfect for my dog. We ate at babblers for dinner which was phenomenal ( see my review for that) . All you Complainers just get a coffee to go and save it for the morning no biggie to not have a coffee machine in the room. In the morning we woke up to a beautiful view. We booked the sauna the original one we had did Not heat up enough so we snuck into the other which was perfectly heated. We did the 1 pm cocktail course and although we arrived late the were set up for us and waiting which was a fun activity before going snow tubing. We chose to go to the mountain but they did have snow tubing on premise.the town of Windham is very cute we checked out the book store and the gift shop a must. Came back for the ugly Christmas dog sweater competition because of a poor turn out the manager rewarded us anyway. Staff here is super nice. Unbelievable nice and friendly. Go above and beyond. We did the smores and then had a phenomenal dinner again. I cannot wait to come back for the summer to experience it. I highly recommend recommend Wylder and windham for a winter getaway.

Amazing place !! Mr. Manley and his staff was very welcoming. My son loved the recreation room. Very clean, attention to details with the design. Beautiful view and lots of activities for both the young and the old. Everyone was very helpful.

We had requested a room with a balcony view however the room given to us was on the ground level looking out to an embankment on the ground it was really not acceptable for the rates in my opinion. There were many empty rooms in the hotel at this time as it was off season. I asked to be moved they then put us in one of the oldest buildings of all “Pines” there was only 1 other person. There are several extra fees that are added be aware of this when booking,

The Wylder delights all guests! Cozy entrance, welcoming staff, spacious, clean rooms and stunning views of the mountain. Joe made the reservation process seamless and was accomodating for our dog too. Andre' provided hikes and activities for both days. And Mack easily answered any questions we had. The staff was wonderful!! We had a fantastic meal at Babblers and were fortunate that The Wallpapers played acuostic while we dined. The bakery on the premises offers something for everyone in the morning. Thank you Wylder Windham, we'll be back!!

Wylder Windham is the perfect place to get away from the city! The scenery was as beautiful as expected and this venue was incredible. It has everything from their heated pool, to their sauna, to their yoga class, to their game room, to their s’mores making event, to the food and live music at Babbler’s. The room was just right for the 2 of us, the decor was super cute, the bathroom was beautiful but the view of the stream and the fire pits was everything! Just peaceful and tranquil, exactly what we were looking for! The staff is also so warm, inviting and accommodating. We were so thankful for Alex’s very thorough instructions to get into our room after we arrived past check in. Jack was so warm when we checked in the next morning and welcomed us with our hot toddy’s. Mack offered us the best suggestions on what to do and see in the area and on our way back down to the city. We HIGHLY recommend staying at Wylder and cannot way to come back to experience it in the warmer months.
