easy to find, was able to park right in front of our room too. I let staff know beforehand we would be arriving late. comfortable for a nights sleep and getting off the road! just what we needed.
I liked that it’s had a table larger enough for four to play cards.
The property and room were clean and properly maintained, the staff friendly and courteous. Obviously not a 5-star resort, but perfectly adequate for being a drive-up motel.

Stayed overnight on way to mammoth. Great option for a quick stay
The Mt Whitney motel is ideally located so you can walk to everything in town. The room was large and the mattresses were excellent. The manager is very helpful and his restaurant recommendations spot-on.
This is a single-story building, yet we constantly heard footsteps running back and forth at night and in the morning, as if there were an upstairs unit. We couldn’t determine where the noise was coming from, which was quite disruptive. On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located right off Highway 395, with a gas station at the entrance and restaurants just a 5-minute walk away.
Convenient to Whitney Portal and Alabama Hills. Walking distance to most restaurants and shops. Short drive to Manzanar National Historical site. Great value!!!
