splendid and beautiful spot

totally isolated, without a Vehicle AND some fluency in Japanese, one is utterly stuck, in spite of kind endeavors of staff and irregular shuttle, oddly it was almost empty.....few bookings at all ! ,

The ski in ski out position is fantastic. The building is beautiful. It has so much potential. The fire place in the lounge and restaurant are very imposing. Food in restaurant was lovely.

You need to book 3 days in advance to get a restaurant booking and most guests don't work that far in advance. The bar was not open which was a real shame as I am sure that would have helped the lack of ambience.

very far from the main Hakuba area. More than 30m drive from Hakuba in a narrow and frozen road.

Lovely staff, all really friendly and helpful. Really spacious hotel so much room to relax throughout the place and an excellent private onsen facilities. Really cool location, I enjoyed the picturesque drive to and from the hotel each day. Top notch gear room to store your equipment overnight and dry etc they even seemed to have very nice rental gear if you don’t have your own. Also 24/7 free coffee pod machine to use as much as you like!

Maybe a lil more atmosphere but that really depends and relies on the current guests staying there at any time so can’t really fault the hotel for that.

Highly recommend!!!! The staffs are so friendly and always happy to help us to solve any problems. The room is comfy and clean, and the hotel offers pick-up service from Hakuba station, feel free to contact the hotel.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever dealt with. Unable to get to the hotel because the only road to the hotel was closed. Hotel customer service was out-sourced and I had to talk to someone out of Japan that did not know anything about the hotel or roads in the area. After about 2 hours of back-and-forth via emails, they finally provided a number to the actual hotel, but the language barrier was a challenge. They agreed to cancel the reservation and agreed to provide a full refund, however, spending over 2 hours with 2 young kids trying to get to the hotel was definitely not how we wanted to end our snow day. We had to look for a last minute hotel booking to ensure we had a place to stay for the night. Be careful of this hotel. Pictures can be deceiving. Customer service is out-sourced to a different county.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Tsuda-san helped us by driving our MPV up its icy slope in the dark.

Recently renovated - room is very spacing , shower is very good !
