The location and its ambience. This property is located next to waterbody and so close to beach. So there is always a wind and beach noise. Which is so nice. Guests can make use of kayaking and traditional boat ride for extra payment. Bed was comfortable to sleep and air conditioning was there. There is plenty of parking next to property but beware of bird poo.

Cleanliness. I would rate it as average. Room was passable. But toilet was below average clean. I felt This property is being ignored and near to extinction. The receptionist was good but he seems to be helpless with lack of support. During my stay the restaurant was functionless ( may be due to lack of enough guest). The room had option to make tea which was included in the amenities but in one room kettle wasn’t working and both rooms had expired milk powder. So we needed to order tea from outside. I must say one of the staff was seemed to be disrespectful to us or may be not bothered about guests. He was lying in the reception sofa playing in his mobile phone while we were having conversation and enquires about things with receptionist . Most of the time he was like this. This was a bit awkward while taking the stay there. Except receptionist no one seemed to be friendly. Breakfast was just average. Don’t expect much. For all this boring experience i feel the price is too much.

External Ambiance is good. Near to lake and sea.

Rooms required better cleaning. It's just a namesake breakfast they are serving. No options. Above all the staff should know what is hospitality. I can't blame them because they are not trained to handle the people.

Warm welcome, beautiful grounds right on the water. Lots of activities it looks like. Peaceful setting when you’re outside.

It’s pretty far from actual varkala - I didn’t realise when I booked so that’s my fault. But it was hard to get a ride back at night. The room was basic, windows faced the courtyard so you won’t want to open them. Nothing too special. But it did the job.

Small and beautifully located. I loved that there was a beach just across the lagoon and a complimentary boat service to reach it. Also paddle boards for use by guests.

The service was chaotic and slow. Most of the staff don’t understand English which makes things difficult for foreign guests.

The stay is really gr8 and owner & staffs really helped .

A nice break from a very busy Varkala. Best if you have transportation. The natural setting is calm, and it's worth exploring the beach across the waterway, accessible via kayak or 2km walk.
