MIMARU SUITES KYOTO CENTRAL

The room was spacious and it was useful to have kitchen and dining facilities, as well as a washing machine. Great for families, with two bedrooms and bathrooms.

I didn’t like having no view, but the location was very convenient.

Great, clean hotel in a good location. No windows for any natural light however, made the rooms a bit dark.

Everything! the room was spotless and had everything we needed and more, great layout, very efficient washer/dryer, super comfortable beds, so close to konbinis, metro etc, the girls in reception were all so lovely and attentive, a special shout out to the wonderful girl from Java - terima kasih. I wish I got her name. The origami sets and instructions, as well as free beer and sake for guests in the lobby were a cherry on top and such a lovely treat after a busy day exploring the city in July heat. Probably our favourite hotel during the trip to Japan. We regretted not booking a Mimaru accommodation in Osaka too.

Not a negative - but we got a little spoilt in Tokyo where the hotel provided pyjamas. That was the only thing missing. Would have been a 11/10 if pyjamas were provided :)

We stayed in the 2 bed premium suite and it was so spacious! Loved the complimentary drinks at reception which were very welcome after a hot day out!

Confortable two bedroom studio, very clean, a lot of room for luggage, clothes and shoes. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Yuki helped our family with thorough search for best way to travel from Kyoto to Kawaguchiko. She made it very easy for us to choose.

This was a great choice for my family of five traveling to Kyoto. It was exceptionally clean and the suite was spacious. Free coffee, tea, sake and beer in the lobby was a nice amenity. It was easy to walk to the train station and other local attractions from this location. Riding the train was extremely easy. There were options for dining and coffee within walking distance as well as convenience stores and supermarkets. It was also easy to grab an Uber and receive Uber eats. I loved the shower rooms with tubs and the washer/dryer in unit. I would absolutely come back or visit another MIMARU property in the future.
