Location is good. Within an older part of kyoto, which is to my liking. Neighbourhood with more character and ambience.

Room we got was not like the pictures in booking.com. Deceivingly bigger in pics. Despite staying 5 nights, we got a complimentary night snack on only one evening.

We loved the whole experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - in walking distance to just about everything we were interested in. The room was very nicely designed with a balcony overlooking a neighborhood temple. The bath and in-room "tea house" were exceptionally designed.

We liked everything about this place. No complaints whatsoever.

The location was great and the room was beautiful- just a little small for two suitcases to be opened. The bathtub and bathroom were spectacular. But the staff was the best part especially a woman named Shoda. So friendly, interested and helpful. She pointed out a great itinerary for us one day!
