Charming ryokan in a great location on the river. Delightful management and staff - all went out of their way to be helpful. Wonderful dinner prepared by chef/owner James in ‘The Willows’ restaurant.

A little bit ‘tired’ but we understand plans are afoot to renovate some of the rooms.

浴衣ではなく作務衣ならもっとよかったです

和室がとても素晴らしく、広くて快適でした。 部屋からの湖の眺めも最高で、スタッフの皆さんもとても親切でした。

The location is fantastic. The views of the lake are beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the staff keep them spotlessly clean. The Japanese breakfasts are exceptional. And the staff are warm and friendly, and always helpful.
