Kamo Residences by Reflections

We chose this place because the In-Charge was willing to let us use the rooftop for the proposal ceremony. And the Staffs all were very helpful to our requested.

Staying at Kamo Residences was an absolute pleasure. Check-in was quick, and the place itself is pure luxury—beautiful interiors, a fantastic layout, designer furniture (high-end, solid and comfy). The full kitchen, washer-dryer, and microwave made everything super convenient. Room cleaning 3 times per day, plus bed turnover while we were out for dinner. Beds are high, thick and comfortable, nice support. We asked for harder pillows, no problem. Sheets and bedding silky. Cleanest hotel I have seen - ever. Dinner was arranged by front-desk who set us up with a two star Michelin restaurant the same day, nice! The hotel arranged a great chauffeur and tour guide for us, taking us to Arashiyama and spending half a day exploring Gion (very friendly and knowledgable gent). Breakfast was custom-made for us—a Kyoto-style bento box, hot and fresh. We’re headed to Tokyo now but will be back for a four-day stay next week. Can’t wait to return. What a service and beautiful suites. Full of detail and beautifully decorated. Grand views. Delicious, fresh bento breakfast in the mornings. Staff and management super friendly. Concierge managed to get us awesome fine dining restaurant reservation on day of checkin.

Swift check-in, super friendly staff showed us to our suite. Fantastic greeting with nice champagne and some local confectionary, fruit and mochi. We got a complimentary upgrade to executive river suite. Molto chic, very nicely furnished and unbelievable details, spotless clean. Beds perfect, tech like TVs and speakers high-end. Concierge service amazing, around the clock. We got one of the best high-end Kaiseki restaurants for dinner that night. Thank you and big ups!

A place to switch off my busy brain. The location is north on the Kamo River. The city is accessible 5min taxi ride. Temple and shrines all around. Fresh mountain air and water views. The personnel is always on call and made our stay just fantastic. We had a guide for one day with their chauffeur. Stunning suite, layout, and built quality are granite, marble, wood, steal, and leather. Very solid, neat, and clean. Great art photography. I inquired where they sourced their frames from, beautiful detail, every inch.

Their chauffeur was polite, the car was comfy and very premium, clean. Great start. We went straight to our suite and had tea and some crisp white wine waiting for us. I live in a portered building back home and had the same feeling, personalized - nice touch. Ms. Mahcha set us up with a few places to visit in the oldtown, we walked there just heading south along the river. After a light lunch and visiting some 'secret' shrines, front desk sent the car to pick us up. Dinner they had reserved a modern Kyoto Kaiseki restaurant. Owner spoke very good English and the course menu was also personalized - concierge had communicated all our likes to the chef. Beautiful Michelin rated dinner counter seats with view over the river. Our suite was also very very nice. The lounge area has a beautiful unobstructed view over the river. Soft leather sofa, coffee table and nice sound system. I was worried the blinds would not fully black out, but the open plan suite has separate blinds for the bedroom. The bed itself is huge, I think pillow top and high off the ground. Sheets and bedding very soft, very luxurious. Cleanliness is top notch, no dust or fingerprints anywhere. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed. Washer-dryer worked great, we washed two rounds and complete in 4h. Staff was even so kind to iron some things for us as we were away. Overall the entire suite is very comfortable - all amenities luxurious. Bathroom amenities are AESOP, the hair dryer is Repronizer :-). My hubby has a pollen allergy, Ms. Rio was so kind to visit the pharmacy to collect some meds for us and book a doctors appointment before we head to Tokyo. Everyone treated us so kindly - they really cared. We will come back for a long stay, 5-7 days or so.

Such a beautiful setting and property. Our suites had breath-taking views over the river delta. Staff service is very kind and friendly. Modern and stunning interior, everything is superbly usable and gorgeous.

We booked same day and were greeted by manager who gave us a quick intro to suite and the neighbourhood. Very friendly staff. Asked for restaurant reservation for the evening and they set us up with a great fine dining Yakiniku place. Our rooms were amazing, all amenities high-class and hight tech from top to bottom. Complimentary minibar, and snack in the kitchen. 24h supermarket nearby, staff did some shopping for us. Panoramic views from the living room. Outstanding experience - so glad we came. Our compliments.
