USWe loved it as modern (interior, exterior, appliances and furnishings), spacious, very clean and very accessible to the town center and at mid of all tourist areas of Nikko. I like the private mini onsen and sauna inside each villa.
The towels/toiletries were not replaced and we are told to wash it by ourselves instead, for the purpose of why the washer is there. Unless the guest will just stay at the villa or remember, that’s the time they can wash. But being in Nikko is to tour around and enjoy nature outside. So housekeeping/laundry works adds to stress and worry to the customer. Bottom line, housekeeping is a bit inconvenience.
