Absolutely stunning! I was born and raised in Japan and I considered this house too notch (especially for the price)! This house is absolutely the best place we've stayed in all of Japan! Clean, the best ofuro (bathroom - modern but keeping in the tradition of Japan - I just wished tourist would respect NO SOAP in the bathtub as you can tell "they don't know!"). The tranquility can't be bought!!! If I could give this place a 10000000 stars, I would! Fight hard to get this house and do not cancel!!!! Thank you for a great 4 days!!!

We loved this house so much - we didn’t want to leave. It was a special experience staying in a Machiya house - and such a beautiful house! The hotel were super easy to deal with. Our hot water did not work when we were first there but they sorted it out very quickly for us. Great location too - would highly recommend.

Bathroom has horrible smell from the sewer system, poorly ventilated even with the vent running 24h/day. 1 bedroom without beds just thin mattresses and the pillows are very thin made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Living room is very cold if doors are open to other rooms- no central air just split unit to one living room. Location is good.

"Horrible and I will never going back to stay ever again."

Dissatisfied .

Nothing to say, the locate is far from the home. Which is very hard to get hold of the office people if have questions or concerns. Horrible bathroom smell. Having to charge just because I couldn’t find the other house key card that’s absurd. And the staff didn’t even asked to see whether I wanted to use the same credit card they had on the system when they charged to have someone to come and pick up the luggage to the office. Horrible experience. I never had to charge for a room key before or in my entire traveling life.

It is a traditional Ryokan house in a nice neighborhood. We loved everything about this house. It was very clean and the design was so beautiful!
