"Unbelievably convenient and clean!"

It is a unique, but very solid budget alternative. But at the same time the rooms are top notch and I would compare them to any kind of hotel. So I highly recommend this alternative.

The neighbourhood did not have any street lamps and when evening comes it comes within 20 minutes and it goes from dusk to pitch black and the facilities are close to a car road. So this is more something the city should fix, but it really needs to lighten up ;-)

"Tiny metal unit"

Clean. Provided a free pack of meal and having a microwave oven in the room.

Very small room. Water temperature fluctuated when taking a shower. I had to walk up and down a fly of metal stairs when getting in and out of a room.

We did but have rental car so walked ti property from train station. Was fine for us (we had backpacks) but someone who doesn’t want to walk a mile would want to get a taxi. Staff was wonderful. So friendly and answers questions for us. We have limited Japanese and staff had Limited English but we all used our google translate and got along just fine. Easy walk to beautiful Shrine close to hotel. Couple restaurants very close as well (within quarter mile..easy to walk). Our room was clean and the added amenities like toothbrush, razor, etc were very handy.
