Les meubles sont un peu trop massifs pour les plus petites chambres à mon goût.

The property is ideally located for exploring the old city of Mardin. İt is a stone building and very picturesque with a terrace that has a magnificent view of the vast plains of the Mardin area.

I went in winter and the weather was against me. A two-day snowstorm snowed us in but hotel staff made sure staircases and landings were kept snow and ice free. They also ensured we all enjoyed meals beyond the usual “breakfast included plan”.

The room definitely doesn’t worth 90$, for this price it should be something excellent…Yes, I know, the prices in Turkey are getting crazy in general, but everywhere should be a limit. Very-very overpriced. The second thing which I didn’t like at all. When I checked in, the hosts advertised their hotel like a home away from home and said they care about all guests like about friends. On the second day I had a morning bus so in the evening before I asked the host if I can have breakfast half an hour earlier than it is scheduled. If the answer was no then no, but the answer was yes. In the morning breakfast was not served, and I saw no people in the hotel. My messages were ignored. I waited for fifteen extra minutes and then left without any food. Afterwards, already in the bus station, I finally received message from the host that he overslept. I think for this money it’s unacceptable. You have to be more responsible for your guests. It’s not 10$ dormitory with hundreds of people where I can understand some shortfalls. So unfortunately my experience of “home away from home” is not that amazing. But Mardin is beautiful, so recommend it for everyone who is reading this review:)
