Sirina House Taormina

Great communication with the Host. kindness and friendliness always present. Spacious, clean and truly elegant apartment. Thanks Christian. We stayed for several nights and were welcomed very well from the beginning. He advised us what to see and where to eat. Thanks for this wonderful stay. I hope to return again

Friendly staff, easy access to (stoney) beach. Good breakfast included in price. Local services, restaurants, pizzeria, mini markets, bus stops and railway station good. Private off road parking available for an extra fee but also on street possible close by. Can't speak for the restaurant as closed when we visited and the same for the beach club.

If you were planning to cook and eat in your room you will be disappointed with the equipment available. AC in the living room but none in the bedroom. Chairs hard plastic and no cushions so not that comfortable. Via Sirina is a dead end street and to get to Sirina house you need to ford a small stream in your car or walk across a collection of planks that make up the "footbridge". Driving across you'll find it difficult to turn so reversing is in order. The building itself faces on to the restaurant and terrace so seaviews from your balcony on the ground floor are limited.

I liked the location. The room was clean.

The room was dark and small. The safe did not work.

The breakfast was well prepared & fresh. The apartment was clean.

We were given another apt & not as booked. The kids beds were in the kitchen and the door of the balcony didn't lock so it wasn't safe for them. We encountered a day without water & electricity and I had to lean a hand myself to resolve the issue. Access to the hotel is limited. After only a 1hr rain, we were stuck & couldn't get out since the walkway was flooded with water covering the wooden slates.
