Casa Yuma, Puerto Escondido

A wonderful escape. Great facilities and rooms. Very peaceful. The onsite restaurant had very good food. It’s about 30 minutes from Puerto Escondido so be aware. The staff were kind and responsive. Only the most minor things we noticed - the pool got a little filmy from all the sun screen that didn’t get cleaned off somehow. Eating and drinking three meals a day plus cocktails added up. But I don’t think you can do better for a chill beach vacation that felt like luxury but was a price point attainable for us normal people.

Wonderful hotel secluded from all the noise but close enough to Zicatela and Puerto. The staff is what makes this place even special. Thanks to Misael, Belen, Carlos, Abdiel and the guys at the bar. They’re all truly special people.

Complete relaxation and paradise next to the ocean, steps away from the beach with a very comfortable room and bed. Staff were excellent and drinks were great. Massages were also wonderful. Only thing in need of improvement was the kitchen- the food was very mediocre and not well executed, and also took a very long time to come out anytime we ordered.

It was away from the town and all the associated noise, etc. Really nice to hear the ocean every morning, and the staff were all friendly.

The hotel is so beautiful. Surprisingly they gave me an upgrade, room with terrace, was so nice! You wake up every morning hearing birds and waves. It’s right on the beach, major plus, the service is nice. It’s a quality place, so no noise or kids, which made the trip super relaxing.

Breakfast and WiFi. Were the only issues. I stayed only couple nights, first day waitress gave me menu of the breakfast and basically didn’t say clearly what was included what’s not, so end up going for full meal and juice and coffee which they charged me for later.. I was surprised because, continental breakfast as I find out has only one drink, pan with butter and small plate of fruits. In my opinion it is a poor choice, cause hotel is far from anything so you don’t really go out, and for the rest of the day you are consuming in a hotel, everything is pricey and I get it cause place is worth every penny, but full breakfast choice would be way much more satisfying. Also would recommend double check receipts, cause there were some extra charges. WiFi was not working the whole trip, had to use my 4g.

El hotel es muy bonito y con una vista sensacional. Lo malo es que las opciones para salir solo son por taxi. Sin embargo no es necesario salir.
