Aldea Mizúl - Beach Front - Adults Only

Hemos pasado 5 noches y han sido bastante agradables. Las cabañas están muy abiertas a la naturaleza por lo que recomiendo llevar repelente potente, aunque si se te olvida te pueden vender ahí. Si la naturaleza y los bichos no son lo tuyo, mejor que cambies tu elección. La mosquitera que cubre totalmente la cama nos salvó de los bichos aunque algún que otro picotazo te llevas seguro. La estancia fue tranquila, algún otro inquilino pone música alta pero estoy segura de que si avisas en recepción se corrige. A nosotros nos cambiaron en el momento de cabaña por otra con vistas "parciales" al mar.. pero que de parciales nada.. e incluso le insistí en que la nueva cabaña era interior y me respondió como si yo fuera tonta: si, vistas parciales, como todas.." no tuvieron ninguna deferencia en el precio tampoco ya que se paga una cosa y te encuentras otra (gato por liebre que se dice en España). El servicio y la comida del restaurante es muy bueno, en concreto José, aunque todo el equipo es muy agradable y profesional. Si tienes algún percance a veces cuesta que te entiendan o quieran entender pero por lo general lo suelen solucionar. Cada cabaña cuenta con piscina privada, frigorífico y cafetera. No hay supermercado cerca por lo que lo ideal es que compres agua y esenciales para no pagar mas por ello suministrado por el hotel. Si, volveríamos a alojarnos porque buscábamos tranquilidad y privacidad y lo hemos encontrado. Mención especial José del restaurante. Trabajador, atento y profesional.

No hay supermercado cerca pero tienen muchas opciones para venderte. Tus cosas de valor y cargadores de teléfono mejor en la caja fuerte. Ninguna cabaña tiene vistas al mar. Sólo dos parciales.aun así, te lo cobran. La piscina no la limpian en toda tu estancia.

It was the most adorable and beautiful place we’ve ever been to! The location is insane! We booked the villa closest to the ocean — and it was the best decision. Waking up to the sound of the ocean is something truly special. Another highlight was our “private” beach: the hotel is so far from everything that most of the time we didn’t see anyone around. Just us. A very romantic and unique place

1. The restaurant at the hotel isn’t great. Unfortunately, the food has no taste at all. 2. When they say breakfast is included, keep in mind that coffee and juice are not 😅 First time in my life I’ve seen this! 3. Be prepared: everything is about 20 km away. So, if you want to go out from the hotel, you really need to plan your day — and yes, you definitely need a car.

El Hotel Aldea Mizúl es un lugar hermoso con un personal increíblemente amable y atento. Lo que más me impresionó fue su compromiso genuino con la preservación del ecosistema local. La presencia de mosquitos e insectos, lejos de ser un inconveniente, es en realidad una señal positiva de que este lugar cuida su fauna natural. En un país donde la civilización ha afectado tanto la biodiversidad, es refrescante encontrar un espacio que respeta y protege su entorno. El hotel tiene redes mosquiteras que funcionan perfectamente, ofreciendo la protección necesaria sin comprometer el equilibrio natural. Aprecio profundamente que no fumiguen el área y esto demuestra una conciencia ambiental que otros hoteles deberían imitar. Los lugares sin insectos suelen ser evidencia de que han sacrificado su ecosistema local por la comodidad superficial.

The cabana was amazing. The pool with the lights, the beds! Location directly on the beach which felt pretty private.

I recommend to put lights in that are less bright. We brought our own lights which was way better. Inform guests that there is a timer on the lights in the pool.

the hotel was wonderful. the beach and the settings were incredible.

They need to figure out the restaurant, although the staff is super nice and the food really good, it is a mess, plates don't come at the same time, it takes forever for the food to arrive, sometimes the drinks came after the food. It is just a question of organization and possibility adding another person to the staff.

The address was incorrect on the Booking site. Just google the location to find the correct location, which is a 45 minute drive west of Puerto Escondido.

The Wi-Fi in the room was not working, and while I was offered alternatives in the reception area, it was uncomfortable for me, as I needed to work during my stay. This aspect should be addressed, as it was mentioned in the room description. 2. ⁠Breakfast Options. The breakfast advertised as included was quite limited. Aside from one egg, there were no basic items like juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, or even bread and fruits. It would be more straightforward to either include a proper breakfast or clarify any additional charges. 3. Toiletries. I noticed that toiletries were only provided on the first day, and I had to ask for replacements on the following days, which was inconvenient. 4. Tea and Coffee Supplies. Tea and coffee were not provided during my stay, and I only received them on the second day after I specifically requested them and explained that there was no way to get them elsewhere. Regular stocking of these supplies would be beneficial for guests. 5. Room Service Communication. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant, but when I ordered room service, I was not informed of the additional delivery charge. Clear communication about costs is essential. 6. Room Cleaning. The cleaning service was almost nonexistent. The bed was never made, the bathroom and kitchen were not cleaned, and toiletries were not even hung up. This lack of proper cleaning needs to be addressed, and it would be helpful to inform guests about the cleaning schedule or any limitations. 7. Insect Control. Instead of selling sprays, I suggest providing electric insect repellents or plug-in diffusers in the rooms. These devices can create a more comfortable environment for guests, particularly those with allergies, and help address insect concerns more effectively. 8. Beach Amenities.
