Emerald Isle Pensacola Beach by Southern Vacation Rentals

Our trip to Pensacola Beach was to experience a Navy graduation and believe that we picked the best resort for our stay! My little ones enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the fact the beach is just steps from the resort makes it all that much better!

The furnishings were good, but the coffee table and lamp table were very old and damaged. The toilet in master bedroom use plugged when we arrived and unusable. The shower valve in both bathrooms were difficult to pull up. My wife could not pull up the handle to star shower. The lamp in the the family room was inoperable. It actually blew sparks on me and the couch when I tried to turn on. It blew a circuit breaker for both TV and the F room lights. I told the front desk about these issues in morning and they said a maintenance man would fix it that day...well they never showed. Oh, the front door doesn’t close easily... it must be slammed or pushed hard. We didn’t know that so the door was unknowingly left opened all day when we left the first day we were there. The TV stations and guide are very difficult to use or understand. The guide provided was 4 pages long with about 200 stations, but in fact I could only find about 20 stations...no movie channels. I would of changed rooms, but the front desk told me they were sold out which I doubt. I don’t believe I can talk to anyone at Hotel.com, but I’m going to try. I should receive a credit on my charges. I’ll probably not use the site or Expedia again.

We needed a hotel last minute and booked this the day before we arrived. Great views from the 17th floor and our room was huge. Full kitchen, two baths and two bedrooms with nice, clean, comfy beds. The pool and hot tubs were clean and warm. Everything was nice, modern and well appointed. I admit I booked quickly and thought I was buying a hotel, but once we got there we found out it was a condo and there would be another over hundred dollar fee for the condo company. I wish I would have seen this, or it would have been more prominent in the expedia ad. It may have swayed my purchase. It just looked like a normal hotel in expedia. That didn't seem too fair to me. Anyway, we had a great time and the condo was fantastic.

Very nice condo. We were down for a girls weekend and this condo was cheaper than a hotel but every bit as nice. Great location. Beach front and within walking distance of most anything you would want. Furniture and beds were in great condition. Kitchen was well equipped. 2 pools and a hot tub. All clean and we'll kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a late check in and after texting me the instructions the clerk ask me to text her back so she would know I hot and gave me a after hours numbers if I had a problem. No problems. Everything was just as she said. Would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

There was a surprise fee assessed to me at check in for a damage waiver that was not disclosed prior to booking. The owner does not respond to messages. We had some maintenance issues while we were there and the property manager was awesome in resolving those. I wont rent through VRBO again. Emerald Isle is a great resort, just don't rent through VRBO.

I can't see how anyone could give this under a 5star rating! It is a beautiful condo directly over the Gulf of Mexico with sugar white sands, a hot tub and heated pool along with a cold one too. It has everything you could possibly need available. These condos sell for about half a million or more, so getting to stay in one is a true treat! And it is accessible too! Amazing views of both the sunrise and the sunset over water! This is luxury!

Wonderful condo with an exquisite view! Definitely plan on returning.

Nothing better than comfortable beds after long drive or long day playing in sun on the beach and our beds were fabulous.

I absoulty love Pensacola and staying beach/golf front was the best thing about my stay I loved waking up and seeing the beautiful ocean every morning. The staff was wonderful and the pool was clean. The only complaint or lack there of was the blinds were broken missing a few of them and hard to open and close I didn't mind to much the view made my visit a 10.

Friendly staff. Quick check-in. Amazing room and view. Nice pool area. Enjoyed welcome bag and free beach chairs. Loved watching the dolphins each day play in the ocean. Would highly recommend this hotel.
