Would just have liked some milk for English tea
USFriendly staff at checkin, nice kitchen facility, towel warmer, modern furnishings and fun design elements. I felt secure.
TV technology was challenging without passwords. Shower slippery. No kleenex.

NLWe had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller boutique style experience. Everything was spotless, the room had some unexpected amenities (towel warmer!) parking was free and the bed was comfortable. it’s also conveniently close to the metro, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of great bars and restaurants in the neighborhood within walking distance.
the hotel is located near a busy railway. Trains do pass by during the night and tend to honk several minutes long, which could be disruptive for light sleepers. Thankfully, the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs.
USI had a wonderful experience at Wanderstay Boutique. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the level of security. I appreciated that two separate keypads with different codes were required to enter the property, which made me feel very safe. I also loved that my room had a keypad entry instead of a traditional room key, adding both convenience and peace of mind. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, and the room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and having two bathrooms was an incredible bonus. The towel warmer was a thoughtful luxury that made my stay feel even more special. Despite being in a convenient location with several restaurants within walking distance, the property was very quiet, and I was able to relax without being disturbed by noise. Every staff member I encountered was kind, welcoming, and professional. This was my first time staying at a Black woman-owned establishment, and I was genuinely excited and proud to support women who look like me. Seeing such excellence, attention to detail, and hospitality made the experience even more meaningful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Wanderstay Boutique to others.
USIts quiet, and open but private. The staff are friendly and helpful. Though ear protection is offered for the nearby tram I enjoyed the sounds of the city. The location was perfect for my visit at U of H. The ironworks coffee and other stuff is perfect for browsing local art.
The decor over the bed is in an unusual spot which doesn’t allow you to sit up on the bed, and the wall plug was in an inconvenient spot.

USI liked how private and secure the location was
Wish there was a cooler in room but wasn’t a big issue
USVery Clean Good Looking Hotel...Looks are Deceiving...Because You Can't Sleep at this Hotel!
Room Temperature (Way Too Hot or Way Too Cold)...Constant "Rocks in a Tin Can" Noise from HVAC Unit...Neighborhood is a "Crime Seen" Waiting to Happen (Industrial/Commercial Turning to Residential) with Homeless/Constant Police Patrols...Locked Security Six-Foot Fence in Front of Entrance Doors (First Time that I have Ever Seen that Type of Security but Common in this Neighborhood)...Contacted Maybe Ten Times About Checking-In Early Online...Required to Sign a Contract at Check-In Stating that You will Pay the "Full Amount" if You Leave Early (Seriously...this is when You Know Something is Wrong but it is Already Too Late Because of their "No Cancellation Agreement")...BUT DON"T FORGET THE NOISE...Location is Between Commuter Light Rail Train and the Railroad Trains...Both of which "Wail on the Horns" if Something is Blocking the Tracks Like the Homeless People that Sleep Along the Sides of Both Tracks (Note Pictures of Room Train Sign, Ear Plugs, but I Forgot to Take A Picture of the "White Noise Generator")...Also Based on the Overall Security in this Neighborhood I would Not Park My Car Outside (Note there is No Fenced Parking Lot at this Hotel)...Maybe I am Just Upset that I Paid $160/night for a $80/night Hotel and Woke Up Sweating at 4:00 AM so I could then Listened to HVAC/Train Noise Until Starting My Day!!! (Only Hotel that I Ever Asked if I could Cancel my Reservation at Check-In!!!)
