The location is perfect! And the property is very pretty inside.

This was essentially like an airbnb, it’s not a hotel-esque place to stay. You’re essentially on your own with one room in a pretty house, we didn’t see any staff there throughout our entire stay. Also wish the facilities (like having coffee in the kitchen) was better.

The bed was so comfy, and the bathtub was amazing. It is a beautifully designed and really unique room.

It felt a little weird having the shared rooftop be so visible to the room and I didn't realize it was a coworking space. It was an interesting vibe for a hotel.

it was comfortable, i could use the shared rooms to do my work and i had them all to myself. the shared kitchen came in handy to have a quick bite. the fresh fruit was appreciated

no outdoor spaces. the gym is meh

We recently spent 5 nights at Casa Wynwood Roma Norte. It was an important trip to us as we were celebrating our anniversary. Although we were charged a similar price to Four Seasons, we decided to stay at Casa Wynwood because we were told we would get an intimate experience of a 5-star boutique hotel. And the pictures were indeed beautiful, as well as the location and the service response offered by the person in charge, Valeria. However, despite our high expectations, our overall experience was far from being in a luxury hotel. In fact, it was more of an Airbnb vibe with not enough to get in exchange for the high price paid. First, we had to pay for the stay 2 months in advance despite the booking platform told us we would pay only upon check-in. This attitude left us with very little room for cancellations and disrupted our cash flow. When we arrived, the problems started to arise. Our room was on the rooftop so we had to take our luggage upstairs with no help (3-story-building), which was weird for a luxury hotel but still ok. Then, we realized the AC was super noisy and although we talked to the management, they said there was nothing they could do because it was a structural problem. We ended up not using it fully because we are both noise-sensitive people. And the room was obviously hot, like anything in Mexico in June. We also encountered a massive construction-retrofit on the building right next to our room. The construction was in advanced stage and definitely happening for at least a couple months. Can you imagine a special week with heavy construction noise from 8am-6pm? That’s what we found out. The manager said the construction had begun a few days ago, but our investigation in the are revealed that it was in progress for many weeks. Even on Saturday, we got noise from 8am to 3pm. We have videos to prove that. Still on the noise topic, it’s worth mentioning that there is a nightclub nearby with super loud music until 4am.
