Beachfront Grand Venetian condo

Both the eastern and western views were lovely. If the both balcony doors we open, it created a beautiful breeze.

It was very cheaply appointed. The dishwasher was too small for the dishes, and there was no soap for it and it couldn’t be found in the stores. The chairs were way too short for the table. There was mold in one of the bathrooms and the trim was off the door in the other. Part of the balcony wall was peeling and the refrigerator was leaking. Tower 3 faces a bar that plays loud, awful music Thursday through Sunday, which makes it impossible to enjoy the sunset and evening. The setees in the bedroom were stained and a huge access panel in the ceiling of the closet wouldn’t close and the lighting in the bathrooms was terrible. The place is in serious need of upgrades. We payed a lot of money for a place that was basically a Holidome masquerading as a 5 star establishment. Other than that, the Grand Venetian as a whole was beautiful, it was just our unit that was subpar.

The place is in great shape and in the best location ever!

Getting there was very tricky, maybe better instructions or directions can help. Google doesn't work as well there as in the USA.

Love the location of the Grand Venetian

The air conditioning wasn't working in this unit. The condenser is right near the master bed and it was broken and cycled on for 25 seconds and off for 45 seconds all day and night. Keeping us awake. Husband slept on the couch, even without the coolness of A/C just to get away from the Noise. 3rd day we figured out how to shut the system down. < The front door lock was broken and not secure. There was not shampoo, conditioner, clothes washing soap, no dish soap. The sink drains the bathes backed up. No smoke detectors. None of the basics that we found in other units at the GV like coffee, small creamer (enough to get you thru the first morning) no bowl of welcome fruit, etc. The sign on the dining room table was only in Spanish...don't have any idea what it said. Lighting was inadequate. Especially in the kitchen, light over stove did not work. Couldn't get the oven to work.

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable

very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath, comfortable size dining and living area, beds very comfortable multiple pools, main pool was lovely and great views

not a lot of comfortable seating, dining chairs very soft, one couch uncomfortable - very loud music playing all afternoon and evening all weekend from neighbouring resort - main bathroom vanity door falling off
