Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Mexico. Comfortable mattresses with extra wide area for your belongings next to mattress in dorm rooms, Curtains, clean shower & toilet, kitchen, AC and nice open area to meet people if you like. Quiet. Not a party hostel. Yoga available. Great WiFi. 4 blocks from the Main Street. Plenty of collectivo stations to get to cenotes, beaches & ruins. Love Tulum.

Freelance Hostel in Tulum has a great vibe that makes it an enjoyable place to stay. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the space feels well-maintained, with attention clearly paid to its upkeep. The vegan kitchen is worth noting—it’s well-equipped, but it might be a downside if you’re looking to cook meat, as that’s not allowed. The owner is super cool and very friendly and will be Lo you with any questions. Overall, I’d still recommend staying here—it’s a unique spot with a positive energy that’s perfect for meeting people and relaxing in Tulum!

The only issue I noticed was the bathroom curtains, which seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. That could use some attention to match the otherwise high standard of cleanliness.

Bathroom and room was little cramped. I spent few minutes to where to put my small luggage. It would be nice to put some sort of wardrobe at least to put bags. But except that all good thanks

The hostel has a simple clean look. Good WiFi! I was very happy that the showers here were warm and had a decent pressure, and everything was clean. The staff were really friendly. On the day of my check-out I rented a bike from the hostel, and after I visited the ruins and beach, I could still shower before catching my bus which was really nice.

Is too pricy for what it is.. not enough space in the rooms, no place for good facilities.. I don’t recommend this place. Bed wasn’t comfortable at all..

We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The room has a bit of a musty smell because lack of ventilation. We rented some bikes from the hostel for a very reasonable price. It was an easy bike ride to the ruins and a few cenotes (don’t miss Yax-kin). When we got a rental car we were able to park it on the street (not the parking place in front of the hostel, but there are other spots). We like that there is a vegetarian kitchen and that they provide a free water refill.

We would have loved to have quiet time from 10pm since we had some early rises (it’s 11pm). The music was also a bit too loud at some evenings. The bikes were not in the best condition, but the price was ok. We never had a hot shower during our stay :(.

Only think is the cold showers. But most days you want a cold one anyway

It’s exactly in the center of the city!

The wash dishes cleaning with a cold water. Dishwashing liquid is diluted in a bowl of cold water and a sponge is dipped into this soapy water(paradise for bacteria). It’s not allowed to prepare food like seafood or meat, because the kitchen is for vegans.

This hostel is perfect. It has everything a good vibe, clean dorms and kitchen, nice rooftop and large sharing space. The volunteers over their are super kind and love sharing their experiences of Tulum. Marc one of the volunteers was super helpful and gave me the best tips to organize activities in Tulum. I strongly recommand this hostel.
