La Puesta

This is a beautiful hotel on the quiet north end of Sayulita. We were delighted with the room, view, service, and pool. The beach/ocean is steps away but the water is rough! The food was delicious and the best margaritas!! Close enough to town to walk either by beach or the road, we enjoyed Sayulita very much!

Great hotel!

Very nice property and loved being on the north end of Sayulita. First time we have stayed in the area. Food was awesome at La Puesta as well as at the small restaurants on the street on the way to town!

Absolutely beautiful stay! Spent two nights to welcome our wedding week into Sayulita. Everything about this property is tastefully done. Enjoyed all of the amenities offered! Such a gorgeous infinity pool with slide, made for some family fun! Loved the gym, beautiful equipment & amazing view. Enjoyed spa treatments , pedicures with mimosa’s & and also an ocean view. The nail tech did such an amazing job & quality products used. The on site dining, Mazo Sayulita, was delicious & excellent service every time. Onsite drinking water dispensers made for really convenient filling for water canteens. A really nice convenient touch. Mini bar in the room had basic candy/ snacks. Good choice in drinks too.

We loved our stay! The room was beautiful and the balcony looking out to the ocean was a dream. They had a daybed on the balcony where we spent a lot of our down time. Every room has an ocean-view balcony. Service was good. The restaurant was pricey, but worth it. The beach access was awesome, and the beach near the hotel was always uncrowded.

Overall awesome place and we'd love to return: Pros: -Sayulita is such a cool town with a ton to do. We surfed, did a catamaran trip, rode horses, and checked out a ton of cool bars and restaurants. -The infinity pool is awesome and heated to perfect temp. -The location of this hotel is awesome as the beach here is ever nicer than the beach further south and much less busy (fewer annoying venders) - We never sat down and ate at Mazo but had a lot of poolside food and it was all great. The poolside servers were all really nice. - The beds/bedding were so comfortable. -Definitely recommend getting a golf cart at least a few of the days you are there as there is so much to check out in town. -Our kids loved the slide. -Gym is small but considering the size of the hotel, pretty nice. At least they have one! Cons: -Seemed to have trouble keeping the pool towels stocked -A hot tub would be really nice especially in the late evenings at sunset.
