ONTO Tonalá Mexico City

The Onto Tonalá was in a perfect location in the Roma Norte. It was so easy to walk everywhere and we always felt safe when we were walking in the evening. The taco place across the street was friendly and the tacos delicious for a late night snack. Our room on the 4th floor was like living in a tree house with the birds singing in the morning and not having to close the blinds since the foliage was so thick. The warm croissants in the morning were terrific and the coffee delicious.

The maids were wonderful, the staff was great, but sometimes the night reception man could be curt. He must have felt that the nights were long because he never seen with a smile.

The staff was helpful and nice. The kitchen has everything you need to cook.

The shower drain was really bad and made the entire room stink of sewage. In addition the bed was really uncomfortable, really hard and not easy to fall asleep in. Lastly the elevators are specific for room numbers and when we came it was broken and we had to use stairs for 6 floors with suitcases. Annoying and not comfortable situation.

ONTO offers great serviced apartments in an unbeatable location in the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood. The architecture and design is tasteful and stylish. Rooms are well equipped and the rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city is a nice plus.

Difficult to find something to complain about here. The large Insurgentes Avenue can be a source of noise though our room was very silent. All windows seem to be double glazed. Breakfast offerings could be improved.

Breakfast pastries were variable, sometimes quite late for travelers to enjoy. No milk creamers in the individual rooms. Towels were few and quite old, torn up. I would recommend new towels and more than one hand towel and wash cloth in the room. Soap container in kitchen was broken but at least there was dish soap. Great, helpful and welcoming staff.

As above. Location was far from all the tourist sites and required Uber to get downtown and other areas of interest.

Very good location. Spacious and comfortable room.

Addition of a toilette in lobby lounge area would be useful.

Muy buen alojamiento. Llegué solo una noche a dormir pero estuvo muy cómodo, solo recomendaría especificar que se acaba el agua caliente ya que es boiler electrico, entonces solo te dura menos de 20 min el agua caliente y luego tarda en calentar. El internet masomenos y recomendaría poner una cobija extra. Pero todo muy bien y agradable y amplio espacio.

El agua de la regadera si se acaba tarda mucho en calentar de nuevo.

The hotel was lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and it was very nice having a separate sitting area and kitchen space. Location was good.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed was SUPER hard. If you like a firm bed then this is a great place for you. But for us it was extremely uncomfortable.
