The staff was absolutely amazing! The food was incredible..everything tastes fresh. The hotel staff made our room incredibly clean each day. Our only disappointment was how firm the beds were. It was very difficult to get comfortable and have a good nights sleep. Other than the bed I would give everything a 5 star rating.

While the staff provides excellent service and is very attentive, the hotel falls short in several areas. The location is not ideal, situated next to a mangrove and a stream with a very unpleasant smell. My room had multiple issues upon arrival: the air conditioning was broken, there was no minibar, and the shower drain was clogged. Although these problems were eventually resolved, they caused significant discomfort during my stay. The pool is very cold as it is in the shade and should be heated. Additionally, the heated rooftop pool is far too small to accommodate guests comfortably. Overall, the room was not comfortable, and the hotel is in need of better maintenance. It has potential but requires significant improvements to provide a satisfactory experience.

Late check in, at 3:15 pm They clean the rooms very late, the bech it’s only a couple of feet away, but only a couple of feet of sand, you can’t really walk past noon in the beach

Es una propiedad que en este momento, lleva un año de funcionamiento por lo que, todas las instalaciones están impecables. Es un hotel pequeño y muy tranquilo, fuera del concepto “all inclusive” que es muy típico por esta zona y no es necesariamente bueno en todos los casos. Todo el personal es enormemente atento. La cocina del hotel está espectacular a cargo del chef Sebastián y el equipo del “beach club” tiene la mejor actitud, tal es el caso de Sophia. Estuvimos una semana en la que queríamos desconectarnos y lo logramos! Finalmente, aún y cuando en la isla hay problemas con los datos, el internet del hotel funciona perfectamente bien. Las habitaciones no tienen televisión, quizá sería una buena idea contar con ellas. El acceso, como todo en la isla es complicado por las calles inundadas, pero nada que no pinos da ser resuelto. En general fue una tranquila y buena experiencia.

This is an instagram trap. The property is covered in flies and smells of sewer. If you go to the resorts closer to the city center, we didn’t smell or see this. The reservations team is also incredibly hard to get answers from regarding transports, if you get them at all. Also, there is NO beach there, the photos make it look like there is but that’s at very low tide and you don’t see how many sharp little shells there are, definitely not a sandy area. I could go on and on but very much catfished on this one. I wouldn’t stay anywhere that far down in the island again.

We loved our stayed at AWA. all the staff members were very friendly and willing to help with any request. The hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool at ground level. The rooftop has an amazing view of the island and is great to have a drink at the bar there or swim while watching the sunset. The food at the beachfront restaurant Fuego is delicious,we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner once during the stay. We loved every dish, drink and cocktail we ordered. Just be aware that the food is a bit pricey, but nothing too far from the average in the island. The room was clean and confortable. We felt it was quite and safe at the property. The hotel is around 20 minutes walking from the main town area where all restaurants and shops are. For us it wasn't a deal breaker and we walk there several times each day. However it can be a bit much for some people and taking a taxi every time could be a bit expensive. The only downside is that around the hotel there are some lots where there is a it of trash. Thus is not the hotel's fault but it does influence the perception of guests. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel for someone that likes to be a bit more secluded from everything around downtown.

Espectacular. Todo excelente, volvería sin duda. El servicio maravilloso. Carlos el mesero y ricardo recepción grandes personas. La atención de ellos hizo perfecta la estadía. Habitación hermosa, vista, música en vivo, la comida deliciosa, hotel e instalaciones mejor que en las fotos.
