The rooms were not as advertised. I will be taking this up with booking.com who have not responded to any of my enquiries. We paid for a superior suite with a view, on arrival we were told the photos advertised by booking.com were of Sayulita. We were escorted downstairs into the basement of the building, beside the hotel laundry & into a dingy, dark & cavernous room. There was a bed in there & nothing else, beside a random kitchen. It was dirty & dark. The walls were dirty, the blinds were dirty. It looked onto a scrap yard and was open to the laneway, anyone could walk by at anytime. There was no safety deposit box as advertised. The bathroom had no windows & was like a dark cave with no thought to layout. The toilet was squished up beside the shower, you hit your head on the glass when trying to sit down. The bed had nothing but a sheet on it. We felt very unsafe sleeping there after arriving from the airport & being told there was no other room available. The next day we were told that room is not typically rented out & it belongs to the owner. The room is not even advertised on their website or on booking.com. The hotel blamed booking.com and said they could not change our booking when we requested to check out & be refunded the subsequent two nights we had paid. They did move us to a different room for the remainder of our stay which was a normal room that is rented out. We still paid much higher rates for the superior apartment which we did not get and we were moved to a smaller cheaper room with no refund or amendment in pricing. We paid $1,400 cdn for 3 nights. It was an absolute rip off. The hotel said to contact Booking.com to sort it out which we are trying to do. We have had no response.
This is such a unique property. High up on a hill overlooking the ocean with beautiful views. However, itโs still within walking distance to the ocean and lots of restaurants and shops. Beautifully decorated with marble floors and mosaic tiles. We have also experienced excellent customer service!
USIf you want an adults only romantic getaway to a โsmall hotelโ with beautiful views in a modern, brand new boutique style room look no furtherโฆyou could no better than Casa Nawalli Puerto Vallarta! Fabiola and Jasmine are absolutely wonderful and look after your every need. The staff keeps the hotel spotless and are so helpful and kind. The rooftop, lounge and infinity pool are beautiful and the view is breathtaking. We watched whales breaching with our morning coffee as well as viewing dramatic sunsets each evening! Itโs centrally located yet quiet, a 10-minute walk away from the Romantic Zone, Saturday Market and the Malecon. Lots of stairs to walk up to get there but after a while we found the best way to go and it wasnโt a problem. At night we suggest taking an Uber back to the hotel, itโs very inexpensive. Lastly, donโt miss โTrio Restaurantโ, the best dinner we had in Puerto Vallarta!
