Casa Ofelia

This lovely boutique hotel was perfectly located in the desirable neighborhood of Polanco. The room had very tasteful decor but the bathroom was a disappointment. The grout was dirty and the lighting was poor, along with low water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. I wish there had been better care taken of the plantings on the balcony. We were in room 5, where the balcony jogged to the right but was sizable. One of the best parts of our stay was the very helpful front desk staff.

I was left disappointed by my recent stay at this property, which did not live up to expectations. Clear communication was lacking, as we weren’t informed about ongoing reparations. The water supply was unreliable, with frequent disruptions almost everyday of my stay including an entire day on Monday. Additionally, the front area was under construction, making navigation with luggage difficult. The early morning repair work, starting at 6am, was particularly disturbing with loud and constant hammering. Quite frustrating especially on your vacations. After voicing my concerns and the inconvenience at the front desk, I was told the manager would contact me via WhatsApp, but I received no follow-up. This lack of response only added to the frustration of the experience.

Best safe location, clean hotel nice rooms. Splurge for a room with terrace it’s worth it to have breakfast on it. Friendly staff. Helped us get all our close washed. It was a very relaxing stay with lots of Michelin star restaurants right next door

There are steps to get in with your luggage, a ram would be a good idea. However they immediately come to help you with your luggage when you are there.

recently stayed at Casa Ofelia in Polanco as a group of three couples, just a short walk to the best restaurants, shops, and parks. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed.
