I think they’d re trying to update but the air conditioner is the original and did not work. The window frame was broke. They need to fix the outside to make it more appealing.

Check-in/out were quick and smooth. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly. I've learned from positive experiences not to judge a motel by its old exterior. My room was updated, nicely decorated and CLEAN. My only issue was not having a small table to prepare a meal on or eat at. . . especially since I was pouring out and warming up a can of soup. There isn't room for a table but maybe a high TV tray that could be folded up and stored in the cubby where luggage rack is? I appreciated how quiet it was, I got three nights of good sleep. The motel is a block from the beach.

It was clean, beds are alright, the shampoo and soaps were low quality and lotion and hand soap were empty, good thing I had my own, the shower had slow water drainage, staff is polite and had no other issues.

No sign made it difficult to locate Website deceptive in stating proximity and accessibility to ocean to the ocean. Ocean is not accessible from the motel.

wifi does not connect at all... then the room was out of power suddenly... no staff was on duty and it was only 7 pm

Liked it was clean and quiet. The sign out front is for a different motel. Studio 9 was on an 8x10 piece of paper in the window.

Worked out for our purposes. Decent price. Very walkable.

The motel must have recently changed its name. I drove up and down Ft. Bragg with no help from 2 different GPS apps and some help from 2 local business people. The Studio 9 "sign" was a letter-size printout and street # could not be found until standing at the door. Long line to check-in could be mitigated by additional staff at the 3:00 hour. The entry light didn't work, requiring one to navigate in the dark to the one bedside lamp across the room. Complementary shower gel, shampoo and conditional dispenser is thoughtful but inconveniently located outside the shower stall, requiring one to step down and turn 180 in the middle of showering. I used my own soap instead.
