Was a nice stay at Treasure Harbor. Boats are smaller than I thought but worked out good. Cute little experience and got to see a manatee.

DEUSLoved the location, and the view was amazing. Love the front deck/ porch area. Seeing the manatees and watching the fish from our seats were amazing. Super peaceful. We both enjoyed it.
USUSVery quiet place. The rental was modern and spacious, and the beds were very comfy. You can see manatees and tarpon in the water behind the houseboat. So cool! The rental was stocked with plenty of towels and all the basic household essentials. Would definitely stay again.
Staying in a houseboat was a new experience for us. It was comfortable and clean. Toni at the desk was wonderful and very attentive. The price for the Keys was better than average. We're glad we made the choice!
This was a new experience for us and my expectations were high due to the great reviews I read prior. I think if I adjusted my expectations I would have felt better. We had no issues and we had everything we needed so it was fine. The issues? Cockroaches! I get that this is Florida and it’s on the water, but cleanliness and proper pest control would help this problem. And just little details that need to be given attention to- for example, all the curtains were wrinkled, the ceiling fan needs to be cleaned, the walls and ceiling in the bathroom need to be cleaned. The details matter. Overall, it was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend to my family or friends.

Horrifying Experience at Aqua Lodge "Everglades" – Worst Stay of Our Lives! I wish I could say our stay at Aqua Lodge "Everglades" in Treasure Harbour was anything short of a nightmare, but it was truly the worst experience my kids and I have ever had. It started in the evening as we were unpacking after dinner. We noticed small cockroaches—at first just a few, but within hours, we had killed at least 20. They kept appearing, mostly from the kitchen furniture. On top of that, tiny insects resembling termites were crawling all over the walls. It was beyond disturbing for my children and me to be surrounded by bugs all night. At 9:45 PM, I went to the front desk to report the infestation—no one was there. I waited, returned at 1:20 AM, and still, no staff in sight. I knocked on doors and called out, assuming the manager was nearby, but no one responded. It was incredibly frustrating and alarming. Then came the unbearable sewer stench from the bathroom sink. The moment we turned on the faucet, a putrid smell filled the lodge. It was so vile we had to open every window just to breathe. My kids were gagging, and I was close to vomiting. It smelled like something rotting deep in the pipes. By morning, exhausted and disgusted, we finally spoke with the manager—his response was infuriating. He showed zero concern, no apology, and absolutely no effort to make things right. When I demanded a refund or even partial compensation for the nightmare we endured, he flat-out refused. He denied any responsibility, dismissed our complaints, and acted as if we were making it up! I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. If you’re considering staying at Aqua Lodge "Everglades," DON’T. This place is infested, poorly maintained, and run by people who simply do not care about their guests. Stay far away.
