The house boats were a fun experience for the kids.
Went with our 2 grandsons. Great experience. Our 2nd time there. Fixing up the property and adding a pool.
GBThe houseboat was comfortable and cosy, and had everything we needed. The beds were SO comfortable and it was very peaceful - we all slept really well. We even saw a huge manatee one day! Shaun and the team were very friendly and helpful too.

We stayed in the Everglade Houseboat. I would have given this a far worse review than I am going to because we really enjoyed the stay and the staff were nice and helpful. Beware though: cockroaches! Staff informed us they spray on a regular basis but I killed a total of 7. The houseboat was clean and everything was in good shape but we were kind of grossed out by the roaches. We only stayed 4 days. Day 2, one roach and day 4, we killed 5 the morning we were checking out. I am not sure I would stay there again unless I felt the roaches were taken care of.
Good place just Housekeeping need to do better restboom was a mess. We had to clean it.
Very clean and great atmosphere
Living aboard a houseboat is an unforgettable experience. Imagine casting your line from your deck and hauling in a delicious bass. Or enjoying the still of the evening overlooking the glassy inlet waters. Our host Toni was knowledgeable of the area, friendly and welcoming.
