Goodseed Suites Philadephia Center

Suites felt safe and were nice for the price.

Suites were not in a good area, I felt unsafe walking around the area at night when taking the bus although nothing happened to me. Suites were also a long walk from the subway.

There was no breakfast at this location. The stay was nice the convenience of having a bit of everything in my room space was great. The convenience of the location was great for me because I’m extremely familiar with the area(s).

My sheets had a strange small brown stain and the bed wasn’t the best of comfort levels but it wasn’t horrible. My bed was also not the proper size for the framing so it was un leveled and maneuvered weird when I would go to get in it. My shower handle came off several times but the shower and water its self was great just was annoyed that the handle came off a few times. Besides the bed and shower handle the overall stay was great especially the pricing location and safety of having codes for each area that was being utilized.

It was a rough experience trying to check in, let along just enter the building. I was scheduled to come in on Thursday the 3rd, but because my train was drastically delayed I didn't get in until Friday the 4th. So when I finally arrived I couldn't get beyond the first two doors to enter the building because the person running the place never sent me the codes. Finally I enter, only to have no room info to go to. I eventually get in touch with the owner and he shows me to my room. However it is not the room I booked (The picture with the view on this page is more accurate of what I thought I would be getting). What I received was something akin to a Scandinavian prison cell. Say nothing of the fact that I was in a rush to go to that nights Dodgers-Phillies game which was to start at 6:45 p.m while I had just gotten in there at 4:00 p.m and my head was still spinning from the days long Amtrak rides I was on, while also still being stressed and rushed to check into my room that I didn't even book. The next day I eventually got an upgraded room. I still wasn't the one pictured on this page, but it was better than what I was initially given. All in all it was a very hectic stay. Mostly it is the fault of climate change for delaying my train rides for as long as it did, but the check in process at this place didn't help the case either.

The interior was beautiful and quiet most of the time.

I can’t say that there was anything bad about the accommodations.

I am traveling alone and I had an overall good experience staying at this property. It wasn’t perfect for sure. Things that I liked: 1) Personally, the location. The apartment is not in the center but everyday I walked about 40 min was at Philly Hall (basically center of the city). The neighborhood is quiet, but there were some weird people walking around down the road. 2) The kitchen is great for 1 person, has everything essential and I really liked the stove as it heated up very quickly. What I disliked: 1) The host was overall responsive, but I asked a small table and a new toaster (as the one that I had in my room had something stuck inside which burned once I wanted to make toast). Unfortunately I didn’t get a response, but it wasn’t a big deal for me, so I just forgot about it. 2) The room was cold because of its the size and there was just an electric heater which was unable to heat it properly. I stayed in Vine 1, floor 1 and it was freezing. I guess if you stay in summer you will feel comfortable with an ac. 4) As written above I didn’t have a table, not even a foldable one, I found that uncomfortable. The house overall is renovated and there is still work to do but I stayed here for only 4 night, so it was all good. I would recommend this apartment if you’re planning to stay for 3-4 days.

Easy street parking always in front of building, very responsive owner, very clean room!

Other peoples clothes were in the room when we arrived. When attempted to move rooms we were given an even longer waiting time. Rooms were not Clean

Was a great place for our stay, and the staff was very helpful when we were trying to get to the location.
