The property was close to the beach and all the staff were friendly and the price was great

Housekeeping needs to check linen a little better for the beds. The fitted sheet hat stains on them from the previous guest. That was unacceptable

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR VACATION!!"

We book with Airbnb, the upper penthouse suite 3br/3bath, which was very comfort and clean, the view were amazing. THAT'S THE GOOD. As for the actual "resort" I will NEVER do it again nor would I EVER recommend anyone that's not Hispanic to stay here. They make it so obvious that you are not welcomed! From the minute we checked in, the attitudes behind the desk were rude, unprofessional, not friendly, unwelcoming and somewhat prejudiced. You ask a question and they act like they cannot understand English and started answering back in Spanish. Why apply for a hospitality job when you have zero customer service. This is the United States, not Cuba! How dear you treat people that way! They all congregates in the lobby basically blocking you from being able to walk and they almost refuses to move out of the way. My family and I stayed for 6 nights. We came on vacation and left feeling more stressed. Hats off to the only person that actually acknowledged us as humans/paying customers.(James, "Jimmy"). I seriously would NOT recommend anyone to patronize this "resort"

Price is modest

The AC did not work, the lowest temp was 78C even after the maintenance person tried to fix. There is no cup in the room despite having a coffee maker

This was really an airbnb type situation and would not have booked this through hotels.com had I known. Employees were nice enough and restaurant on site was nice. Room was dirty and even though owner said they would send someone to clean, they never did. They asked me to complain to the front desk the next day and the front desk agents said that was really up to the private owners. Overall I would not recommend.
