Sierra Motor Lodge - A Sierra Blue Hotel

I don’t like the zone but the rooms are clean and comfortable

For a short stay for work, this place was perfect. The Bathrooms and showers are shared but they are kept clean and are completely private. There are two microwaves, one upstairs and one downstairs. I was there for a week and used them everyday and never had to wait for one. It's not a luxury hotel with tons of amenities, but it's clean, safe and quiet. I'll stay here again.

Details were modern and cute. Beds were comfy. Shower head was fabulous! Rooms were very small, but worked for a place to sleep for a night

Very clean and comfortable...best place in Mojave.....trust me...great wifi updated appliances beds are super super comfortable they have rooms with or without bathrooms and shared bathrooms which are very very clean...and very quiet

Hotel has shared bathrooms and showers, but clean. Improvements are progressing, but it will take a while.

The outside of hotel does not appear so inviting, but stepping it’s a different story. It’s bare bones but nice and very clean. The bed was one of most comfortable I have been in. Do not particularly like like sharing bathroom and shower, but must admit they were kept very clean and seemed fairly recently renovated. It was quiet….no front desk personel but staff via phone were very friendly, prompt, and helpful. All in all good stay.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Upon arrival I was a little confused. No one answered the door so I telephoned the number provided on the the door. I was buzzed in and checked in on phone while sitting in lobby. I was given a code for front door and room and, after that, all went well and comfortably.

I was a little disappointed when I first saw the place. But what a SURPRISE! Our room was #225, on the second floor with no elevator. It seemed to have unusual accommodations, with some separate baths. But OUR ROOM WAS TERRIFIC!!! Everything was brand new and immaculate! The king bed was firm. The bedding was new and gorgeous, with modern layered sheets and comforter so it’s washed every time. No drab dirty multi used spread. I like a walk in shower without A tub. Check. The shower head was brand new as were all fixtures and fittings. Excellent height toilet. Brand new fridge and microwave. It was so nice we considered staying an extra day. We only stopped to break up our long trek about halfway between Ca and Vegas. If that’s what you need this is the place to do it. It’s Mojave so that’s not anything special. But the staff and room is definitely worth it. We also chose late checkout for an extra $20, also worth it for the extra rest. Well done keeping a 1956 property open. So i was nervous at first bc its my first time flying solo and staying somewhere by myself, this lodge is the best of the best in mojave in my opinion the bathrooms were always clean, The ac was amazing, the rooms were clean when i arrived And the staff was very nice and sincere, i stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and i accidentally left my gold bracelet there next day the staff that was working asked if i had left my bracelet there and gave it back, I Loved my stay very much and will be coming back !

If you’ve ever been to Mojave California, you’ll know it is a rather surreal place. In the middle of the desert, the town resembles a truck stop: gigantic trains rumbling through, field of disused aircraft, huge wind farm, windy, windy, windy. It’s also a convenient place to stop on the way up the Sierra. Sierra Motor Lodge has been an excellent stopover. Clean, comfortable, convenient.
