Konocti Harbor Resort

There was nothing to eat open and it didn't say that anywhere when I booked it. The woman behind the desk was not helpful finding a place to ear. I stood at the front desk ringing the bell for 10 minutes before someone came to help. I was early to check in but she said my room had not been cleaned yet. This is a large resort and there was not 1 other car at the hotel They absolutely could have accommodated me after a long drive but couldn't even offer me a room any earlier than 4:00. They claimed to have had the cleaning people scheduled. WHO CARES!!! CHANGE IT! When I did come back the gentleman who helped me apologized for the woman earlier and said she should have given me a room.

The weekend of May 3, 4, & 5 we held a Model A Ford gathering at the Resort with 80 Model A folks. We had a pasta banquet on Friday night and a tri-tip & chicken banquet on Saturday night. The food was excellent. Our event was held in the Grand Showroom. The view of the Clearlake from the Showroom was breathtaking. The beautiful crystal chandlers in the Showroom were a sight to behold. All rooms have a view of Clearlake. Our room was very comfortable and the mattress was like a cloud. The Resort is five stars all the way!

This is a beautiful property. We didn't have any hot water, but the facility got someone out there and it was fixed within a few hours. We also had some ants and bug issues. Again, they came out an sprayed for them.

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The decorations were beautiful for the holidays. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and very welcoming. We would stay there again in a New York minute!

The staff was very welcoming and accomodations were clean and nice, my only discomfort was the shower. It was very small, my wife is 5'8" and the shower head was quite low for her. I'm 6'1" so it was challenging for me. Everything else about our stay was very nice, loved the lake view.

Phoenix rising from the ashes. Superlative location on beautiful lake rimmed by low hills. A fallen beauty attempting to rise. An enormous facility partially remodeled. Rooms are clearly remodeled (deluxe double). Comfortable beds. All light fixtures may not work. New ac, shower bathroom fixtures.Still a work in progress. Depending on time of year and day of week, there may or may not be any food available and you are 5-15 miles away from a grocery or restaurant along curvy 2-way road. Not good driving after dark. Ask for maid service or hair dryers. A work in progress of enormous undertaking. I wish them well.

The pool was beautiful. Food was great and staff really accomodating. We really enjoyed the pontoon boat tour of the lake. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We also enjoyed a nice lunch in Kelseyville and great wine tasting at Chasewater Winery.
