I have been going to SC for over 25 years. The location and cabins are what keep me going back. We enjoy the horseback riding as well!

We knew the indoor pool was closed- has been for 3 years. However, we were unaware until we checked in that the second outdoor pool was closed as well which meant for a very crowded pool. In the cabin there was limited spots to hang bath towels and the shower was very slippery. The majority of the activities are an additional fee. I dont prefer the way you have to go about booking it online and then your inbox fills up with numerous emails.

Loved the staff, Mac's has GREAT FOOD! Management very responsive to music issue at the pool...THANK YOU! We had e great horseback ride with the family...they were all attentive. Loved the lake and peaceful views.

Lampshade in room needs to be changed and beds were noisy.

Peace and quiet the perfect getaway. We enjoyed playing all the games by the putt putt golf course. We played horseshoes,tennis, and basketball. We ended up a lil sore but needed it!!!!

We stayed in the lodge and had to request a different room due to the amount of mildew accumulated on the furniture and smelled awful. Over half of the things to do were closed partially due to an ice storm damaging the property and the indoor pool was broken. They had a game room but had to pay at least 1 dollar to play per game. Really disappointed with our stay but the staff were great.

Good views. Good cabin. Location was good for us. Thought it was a good value.

We were there for 3 days and tney never emplied the trash cans. The big one in the kitchen was overflowing the day we left. Had a few wasps in the cabin. Luckily we didn't get attacted.

Die Lage war ausgesprochen schön. Im Keller die Spielhalle und das kleine Gym waren top.

Das Zimmer war von Beginn sehr dreckig und wurde während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt, die Betten nicht gemacht, die Handtücher nicht gewechselt und die Mülleimer nicht geleert. Der angepriesene Außenpool (der innenpool war geschlossen, hat man aber erst nach der Buchung erfahren) war sehr dreckig und nicht benutzbar.

Lovely and clean cabin in a beautiful rural Virginia setting. Parking is right at the unit with a ramp directly to the door. There is a small general store on site with all of the essentials, but there is also a Food Lion in nearby Gordonsville (about 15 minutes away). Pizza and sandwiches are available at the deli / cafe - the pizza was quite good. Location is about 45 minutes from Jefferson's Monticello and Monroe's Highlands.

The resort is part of Bluegreen Vacations and when checking in, visitors meet with the "concierge" where they try to talk you into a presentation on Club Membership.
