The Blanche

Beautiful building and exceptionally clean.

Elegant lobby and stair ways. Rooms updated and clean and well appointed. Muy room was right next to the road and each vehicle and bar across the street was heard. Ran the fan and white noise machine to bloke the noise.

Second time staying here and second time reviewing. This hotel is such a bargain. We did show up on a Sunday night, however. The town is kind of closed up on Sunday nights, so if you planned on enjoying a nice dinner in town, don’t stay on a Sunday night.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The team were extremely responsive by text and we felt looked after in every way. It is worth noting that this is not your usual hotel in that there is no room service or restaurant on site. We took the recommendation of The Blanche team and ate at a wonderful local restaurant and had breakfast at an outstanding coffee bar the next morning. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Didn’t feel comfortable with the area where the hotel was located. Then we find out you need a code to get in the lobby! A code to get in your room. And by the way, there is NO staff on site!!!! How do you run a hotel like that and who would stay there. Tried getting my money back but Expedia couldn’t get a response! No wonder, NO STAFF ON SITE! Super disappointed. Do NOT be fooled by the pictures. Worst hotel decision I ever made. To Expedia: take “The Blanche” off your list of hotels in Lake City FL!
