The Blanche

The elevator was broken and I had my elderly mom on a walker. There was another lady that had a bulging disc in her back having to pull all her luggage down the stairs. I had 2 rooms and this was definitely not how we envisioned our stay being.

The Blanche was absolutely amazing, this is by far the best place to stay in Lake City, hands down. I have not a single thing bad to say. The room was clean as could be. We had everything we needed. We were tubing on ichetucknee springs, which I strong suggest if you’re in the area it’s absolutely beautiful. The brewery has good beer and great service. Frankie’s has good pizza and a bar which stays open a little later. The Marion street deli and pub had a delicious menu and recommend for dinner. Coming and going was effortless, the lobby is gorgeous, there is an office, it’s perfectly set up for weddings or major events!! I literally can’t say enough, and if your there and you have a problem contact the staff they will handle it immediately!

Wedding and loud and noisy reception. No electricity in half the room no one to call or contact.

A historic hotel yet very clean . A unique setup with check in and check out. A lot of dining options around the hotel in a small, quaint town.

Beautiful historic building but no onsite parking. Parking in street is risky. Had to Self check in as no Personnel on sight

The Blanche was picture perfect. The rooms were clean and well decorate. The Blanche would have gotten a five star if it hadn’t been for the loud noises and slamming doors in the middle of the night (from 12 am to 1 am and again from about 4:30 am to 5:30 am). This did not make for a good night’s sleep. This may have occurred because it was the weekend. We would stay there again and would recommend the Blanche.

It’s like a gem in the middle of a little town. Very beautiful, clean. No food service but some coffee shops close by.

The property is beautiful!! Old world elegance with contemporary decor. Loved staying in something so historic! Had a wonderful stay and will be staying again when I am in town.!

Amazing hotel, so pretty, clean. Travelling with three kids and we had everything we needed and more. We left very happy, thank you.
