The Neighborhood Hotel - New Buffalo

We checked in online. It was convenient. However, it would’ve been nice to see a manager/owner other than guests sneaking in/out. A nice surprise was to come back at the end of the day to homemade muffins. They were delicious. The location was within walking distance to everything. Would recommend to stay here.

The room was smaller than expected. It would’ve been nice if there was a fireplace in the room in addition to the community space.

Beautifully renovated hotel in a wonderful neighborhood on a tree lined street. Wonderful shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again when in town.

Great stay - clean and easy to find! Love the pdf guide they provided, it is really detailed with great things around the area. Very nice stay, highly recommend!

Good location, easy to check in and out.

It felt more like we were renting a room in someone's house, which wasn't terrible, but not what was expected since that's not how it's described or priced. The ability to hear everyone else in the building entering/existing, in common spaces, and even in their rooms, (especially the guests staying upstairs) meant noise was a constant concern. Plus, there's only a communal fridge, though the room accommodations stated otherwise, so all made for no real sense of privacy and it was difficult to sleep or relax.

The hotel was a great location. Easily walkable to the downtown (just 1 block away) and easily walkable to the beach. Communication was great. Received the door code well before we arrived. There is a parking lot with 1 space per room. The room we stayed in was clean, had plenty of room for my wife and I. There was a coffee machine in the room. The kitchen is communal, there is a fire pit outside along with picnic tables and a sunroom. Highly recommend this hotel.

Went to New Buffalo for the beach but the weather did not cooperate. The room had a balcony where we retreated while watching the rain come down. It was quite peaceful. A very clean hotel/room. We will definitely stay here again.
